If complimenting -
something along the lines of 'I will reccomend this product to all of my friends, but I'd like to try something else in your range but am afraid I won't like it as much, would it be possible for you to send me a sample?'


If complaining -
something like 'I would advise all my friends to stay away from this product. I hope you'll take my comments into consideration'

Two genuine complaints I made recently

1 - to my local Burger King franchise - for everytime we go and order two meals and a side order - we get home to find that the side order is missing - letter received today with voucher for 2 free meals - got a night off from the kitchen

2 - I found a fishes FIN in my sushi at tesco - took this into store and they refunded the cost of the product and sent it away to be investigated - received a letter of apology and a £10 giftcard today

Both were genuine complaints

I wrote to a few companies recently and still waiting for responses.

So far:

Green & Blacks - Told to buy smaller bars

GU: Sending a little gift in the post, shame it can't be some chocs as I love their stuff. But anything is good for me! :T

Nivea - Send lots of samples today, some would be useful for my hospital bag :j

Just going to wait and see how the others reply.

Genuine complaint to local Waitrose store regarding the way my mother was poorly treated when she tried to use a voucher I gave her. After a few emails etc, I received £40 in gift vouchers and she received a huge bouquet of flowers. They've also retrained that member of staff. I love Waitrose again!

I emailed Volvic about two weeks ago-no reply.
It was just seeing if I could do the Volvic challenge for free:p
It seems though, Volvic are challenged in just replying.:(

After reading a few of these quotes, I decided to email a few companies and ask for a few samples for the baby toiletry hamper I am putting together, will let you know how I get on! Thanks for the inspiration everyone!

pampers have emailed me back and said they have no free samples or coupons that they could send me.:( Oh well never mind! Lets hope I get on better with another company!

I made 2 genuine complaints recently to my local bus company and Poundland.
Neither companies had the decency to send a reply.:(
