Hi
I'm twenty-fifteen years old married with 3 children (8,4,and 2). I work full time as a school accountant but only during school terms having downsized my previous job. Really enjoying being a MS Mummy and getting to know everyone else!0 -
Ok then, you asked for it!
I'm 38 , very unmarried and very fed up of being single.
I am taller than a giraffe, and like , rugby and good honest food.
I am a civil servant, and serve - civilly.
This is me a few years ago at Chester Zoo, being taller than a giraffe:
This is me a couple of weeks ago at my uncle's:
And if I was made of lego, I'd look like this:
I think that's quite enough now.If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -

I am a married mum of three girls, who are all turning quickly into kevin and perry! (12,10 and 8). I work almost full time (32.5 hours & the rest!) at the girls school as a Nursery Nurse, Ive just started in the Nursery! OMG its hard work (26 three year olds just for me!) but I like it. I love coming on MSE, hubby thinks I'm addicted, I'm sure I am, but I am saving us money and feel great about it, and being on school hols means he's not here to see!
i'm an OS convert and love my new slow cooker, bread maker and stardrops!
Thanks to all who post on OS threads xxIf you don't have something nice to say don't bother saying anything at all.0 -
I'm a 20-something Health and Safety Person. I work for a very well known Engineering company. I work full time, but am rarely rushed off my feet.
I'm trying to save a deposit to move out with OH and live happily ever after.
I enjoy doing all things housewifey, and yet am still slightly feminist (nope, I don't understand me either!)
I love reading all the OS tips, the OH thinks I was born 50 years too late... :embarasse0 -
I'm newleaf. I'm a nurse; old, fat, knackered, and looking forward to retirement in about 8 years time. I'm clearing my debts in order to build some savings for then.
I'm happily married to mr newleaf but, sadly, no children. I am very close to my friend's children though, which sort of makes up for it. I'm also a carer for my elderly mum.
I live and work in a beautiful part of West Yorkshire, and I am very content with life
When I'm not on here I like doing 'OS things' in the kitchen, or travelling abroad.Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0 -

Hello - I know I haven't posted much but I thought I'd introduce myself. I work for a Financial Services company in their legal dept. Am single, no kids and having a laugh flat sharing with my best friend. I moved in with her "just for a couple of weeks" and that was about 5 years ago now :rotfl:
Cant cook and my favourite thing to do is curling up in front of the TV with a glass of something nice :j so Im a bit of a boring old fart but there you are - each to their own!
Love cleaning though and the tips and things I've picked up on this site have been invaluable - thanks everyone....::T
Got frogmarched onto this site because of my passion for cleaning and spending money!0 -
I'm tescodisco, because I'm a tesco clubcard obsessive, and I love to dance to disco music.
I'm 31, live in Newcastle upon Tyne and work in the IT department of a well known British Airline.
I shouldn't be skint but I am, have finally decided to do something about my debt and am trying to budget more.
I've always cooked from scratch, and tried to economise, but recently have got lazy.
Reading the board has motivated me to take back control of my life, and spend my money on the stuff I really want to do, rather than wasting it all the time.0 -

I am born in Vienna (the lovely country austria if anyone wants to know) and moved to be with my partner to london in 2001 (because his german is not really well, existing :A) - moved to berks only 2 years ago (with a 6 week old baby )
i've been lurking around for a while and i do like all the tips and tricks and hints and help everyone has to give!!
but oh boy, is it much to read - luckily dp likes his computer too and doesn't mind :T -

we are in no debt [phewww] but it never hurts to look after your pennies
to keep my sanity i started a home learning course in accountancy (aat)
and we are also playing with the idea of moving to oz soonish
we are also on a diet atm - was just sooo necessary - looking at some pictures from a few years ago and oh wow SHOCK - so slowly but surely we are getting there ... we've also talked about getting married so that might be just about the right incentive :shhh:
i still have to find out though what all these challenges are about? :think:I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work0
