Getting to know you........

:hello: Hello everyone!! I've been looking round the board for a while now and thought I'd better inroduce myself!!

I am purple princess! I am 21 years old, I live on my own and have done since I was 17. I have got a lovely boyfriend who stays a fair bit!! (Should start charging him rent really!! :rotfl: )

I have got two jobs, one full time and one part time, I am also studying outside of work for a qualification through my full time job, I also try and make a bit of extra cash on eBay!!! So time is well and truly full up!!! Any spare time I do have I am on MSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl:

I have got loads of good ideas from this forum! And using this site has really helped me get a grip on my outgoings.

Hi all.

thought id better introduce myself after having a posting frenzie over the last few days

im a 33 year old mum to 2 boys 10 and nearly 2 and 2 girls12 and 6 have a partner (makingendsmeet)soon to be my husband in august
i work 30 hours a week at our local college in the kitchens, have started to do my courses to become a childminder as i long to stay at home and do what i do best (which is anything child related)

we are in the process of buying our first house so OS is helping me watch the pennies and to reduce my out goings every month.

Hi everybody, it has been so lovley to read about all of you!
I am 28 years old and currently working at local council full time and BF 29 yrs is a full time civil servant.
I am totally addicted to this site and all the fantastic tips and advice everyone has to offer, I have been a 'lurker' for a while, but plucked up the courage to start posting this month!
We are currently doing up a house we have brought, with the intention of doing up and selling on, and I am now really into cooking from scratch with all the lovely recipes I get on here!

Hi everyone,
lovely to read this thread (not got thru all of it yet...) and find out about sooo many interesting people!
I'm 46 & mum to 4 boys aged 22, 20, 18 & 10 & love having them all at home - eldest is resident geek & keeps us networked & online. Married to lovely older man (60) and escaped E London for W Somerset 4 yrs ago. Wouldn't go back...
Work in hospital lab (haematology) 4 days a week & cover nights on a 1in10 rota (v good money for that bit).
Have decrepit house needing lots of £ & TLC but OH is ace DIYer so less £ than it might be. Currently doing self-build in garden to accommodate FiL, & garden will need serious resuscitation afterwards...
Have always made own curtains, clothes (especially kids) & have a sideline doing sewing/alterations for other people inc wedding dresses tho not so much recently as building work has taken over & ivory satin & rubble don't mix very well.
Would like to improve the food spend in our house & reduce wastage. OH is main cook (vvg) but not so organised and disciplined as I'd like.
Working towards grocery challenge (but have to get all on board), allotment (but not organised this yet)and eventually 3 day week!

Since i started posting i really should introduce myself . My name is Anne(27) I am a sahm of one son who is 15 months DH (27) goes out and works. I love cooking and now I have moved house and got a nice kitchen I am really enjoying myseld in trying to make a lot of things myself. i live in the north east of scotland but am originally from Holland so i am still getting used to the different things used in cooking here. Luckily my MIL gave me some old cookbooks to get started with and I have even made my very first pie.

I'm really glad to have found this board !!

I've been posting quite a lot so thought I'd better introduce myself. I'm a SAHM and live with DH, DD 14, DS9, DS7 and DS4. I'm interested in environmental issues, but just a beginner. I enjoy being in the garden, cooking and being a mum.

I'm a long-time lurker and am loving most things OS.

I am 32, married, with 2 daughters aged 6 and 3. I used to work in local government but now I'm happy being a SAHM. I love cooking from scratch (always have done) but my ambition is to get my home nearer to Anthea's standards (note:- 'nearer' - not 'LIKE' )

I can't bring myself to buy a chic shopper just yet, but I love Aldi and Lidl, when I get a chance to go.

Katrina-trying_to_save!?!

Well ive already made a few posts but il mayb introduce myself. My names katrina and i am just turned 20. i work part time in a diy store and am i student. i am on my 2nd course within 2 years and am going for a nursing interview nxt week..... cnt decide wat to do with myself.... i hav been goin wiv my bf for 6yrs and i hope ot move in with him once iv finished my uni!! itll be years yet flip sake! i currently love with my mum,dad brother 18 and sister 16-can be a nightmare at times thou. I have been driving for nearly 2yrs and drive a silver nissan micra which i hate but sure... il update more about myself later.....thanks katrina TRYING to save!?!

Just been reading this thread and its soo interesting to find out about everyone, so here goes a bit about me:

My name is Rachel, I live in the Midlands (originally from Bristol), I'm 29, married (14 years this July) and I have have two daughters one nearly 14 and one 9. I work in a primary school as a LSA with 2 6 year old special need girls (they're so adorable its like I have 4 daughters). I am currently completing my NVQ level 3 Early Years Care and Education and also a Computer Maintenance course (Comptia A+), so don't really have much time to myself.

I think this OS forum is fantastic, and am so glad I found it.
