hello
I've been lurking around for a week or so! Need to save money at the mo as boyfriend has lost his job and I also love the idea of reusing, recycling, fixing and mending rather than just binning and buying new. I also want to start growing veg!
Really enjoying this forum, especially the leftovers thread and handy hints for cleaning etc, thanks
I'm 24, rent a house with my boyfriend, work full time as an chartered accountant & tax adviser and in my spare time I love going to see bands and going to festivals0 -
looked at things and although we can meet payments we owe over £22000 and with interest adding, not including the mortgage or car  gonna have to do some serious money saving to pay our debt off, not sure how to do it but not adding anymore to it has got to be a good place to start

Hi, I'm Angela. I'm a stay-at-home Mum to a 3-year-old girl, but my husband's also out-of-work (since before our daughter was born), so money's very tight. I've always been into OS methods, though, where I can find them, particularly as my parents were teens in the war years so were very into make-do and mend. Therefore this site's just up my street. In my spare time I mostly do online surveys to get some vouchers to buy birthday and Christmas presents and other essentials.0

Hi everyone, long time lurker of MSE! 23 year old graduate working as a kitchen assistant in a busy restaurant at the moment, hoping for a change in career in the very near future, been trying unsuccesfully for 2 years for a job related to my degree, but I'm just happy to have a job tbh! My OH is a chef which is where I met him. Hoping to move out finally after 5 years together so been looking up tips and ideas for saving. Especially love the meal planning (since we both work with food!) and home made stuff!
