Hi folks I'm 30 and live with my hubby, 2 insane springers and moggy in Hampshire. I work part time as a playworker (b/fast and a/s clubs). I love sewing, and baking, but am extremely disorganised and terrible at time and money management so I've joined MSE for advice and help. Looking forward to a changed me for 2011. :jMFW 142- Oct 1999 £55,0000, Jul 2013 £27,593.17 Oct 2013 £26,531, Dec 2014 £22,600, Dec 2015 £20,190, Jan 2016 £19,944.19 Mar 2017 £16,944.76 Decluttered 207/2018

No idea if I'm on here or not, if not, here I go!
I'm 27 and live with Kai (the OH). Just us two on benefits so we need to eat frugally and healthily and cheaply (not as easy as it sounds when taking into account I'm gluten and lactose intolerant). I love cross stitching and knitting and live my life in a state of piles of organised mess. Have been getting into the frugal thing (batch cooking, slow cooker and blender are now bought and ready) and need to lose a hefty bit of weight too, which OS should help me with too I guess** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **
**SPC 2012 #1498 -£152 and 1499 ***
I do it all because I'm scared.

Hi
Been a bit of a lurker for a while now, so I thought I would take the plunge and become a member.
I'm 43 years old, live with my partner and our 2 lovely (well sometimes) children. I have just been made redundant, but managed to find another job 3 weeks out of work but it pays a lot less. So I'm looking for money saving ideas.0 -

Sorry, I put the link in so you could see why...................perhaps it didn't work
Anyway, there's a OS meet in Birmingham and I wasn't sure if you knew about it or it would be something you'd be interested in.Nicotine Free since 01.08.2010 :j:j:j

Hello
I am a SAHM and my youngest DS who is 4 started school in September (very hard for us both!) I have another DS who is 8 and have been at home since he was born. I love cooking, baking, sewing, knitting, crocheting and patchwork and am planning to start up a little business from home making and selling some of my crafty things. I still want to be around for poorly children and in the holidays so unless I get a job in a school I think doing something from home is my only option, besides I like it here! My husband is very supportive and happy for me to be at home and we are used to living on a tight budget so what's a few more years?! Our families are both very generous and kindly take us on holidays so we are very lucky. Anyway it's early days and to be honest I feel a bit lost after being in demand every hour of the day, I am just trying to get used to being able to sit down and have a sandwich on my own at lunchtime and being up to date with the ironing (although I'm not now, they only went back to school today and the house needs some serious attention!). I look forward to some company.
