Asda: They will refund you the differnece, plus a £2 gift-card. Co-op: This is a fascinating one. Someone in my family works there, so I get told of her bargains all the time :rolleyes: If you buy something and you are overcharged, you get Double the Difference back. If you buy something and you are not satisfied, for example you bought a box of chocolates on B.O.G.O.F, and you open the box to find that the sweets must have been too close to a heater or something- then you take the damaged ones back, get a full refund for both plus a replacement for both (while keeping the undamaged box IYSWIM).

Not sure if the last part about the Co-op, but hey-ho!

Thanks for the excellent info.....well done..!!! Anyways today I managed 2 Brut near my local Tesco. SEL showed expiry 060109. PAid £29 for each instead of £14 and got back £60 DTD.....!!

There used to be a discussion thread but it was closed a long time ago as it was too much work for the mods. I wish they would update the first post now as this is the only place to discuss these matters, and the information is certainly useful to many.
