don't get me started on those rib eye joints of finest beef so heavy and overpriced at 25-30quid a joint :D:D

You would have thought R&R stood for Rib and Roast with the amount of those I had in my freezer at one point!

Even gave a £25 joint to the plumber once as a "tip" he was well impressed! lol
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

I was just wondering if the recent printer glitches were as a result of OOD SEL's or a pricing glitch? I desperately need a printer and my local store has a couple of HP printers that are half price but ending date is 21st Jan and there's no self scanner. Hoping somebody may be able to advise

    One for lunchboxes:

Kelloggs rice krispie square bars (4 pack)

SEL showing £1.03 (for a pricemarked pack at 99p....get that)

scanned at £1.41 DTD of 76p
Autism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine. :)
  • Are there any current glitches on all in one printers or on slow-cookers in particular?

Hi I just wanted some advice. Tesco have a promotion on Innocent smoothies was £2.84 now £2.00. I purchased the Strawberry & banana & was charged £2.84. When I asked cs to check she said that it was not in the offer even though it was on the everything £2 shelf. I am confused as looked at Tesco.com who have also put it in the special offer section but are also charging £2.84. Can they do this?

Dtd! If you buy them, go to CS and you should get back £1.68 per smoothie purchased- resulting in each smoothie costing the bargain price of £1.16

    Legally yes.

Thats why I stopped shopping at Tesco a few years ago. Felt conned!
After items week after week that were incorrectly priced, this included Tesco 12 pack of Diet Coke flashed at £1.99 on the pack, charged at £2.19 at the till. All they did was refund the full price. I noted certain prices over a few weeks and noticed that some items were consistantly not price correctly mainly offers, the excuse was always the same, someone forgot to change the shelf labels.

I now shop at Waitrose (although OH works there too so get discount) but at least JLP have a completely different ethic!
These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!

I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!
