I bought this, was charged full price, but I gave it away as a gift! still have receipt, any sugestions?

If you can't get DTD back, buy another at the offer price and return it as an unwanted gift with your old receipt ;)

    They are watching you....

    ;)

No seriously though if you say on this public site that you just fleeced Tescos X for a printer/phone/slab of meat....

....And someone from that store reads it on here - because hey Tesco Dudes are human too and some might be on MSE....

....You may find someone watching out for you....

    Paranoid? Me?

    Yes.

    That's why I've lasted so long. ;)

don't joke about it, in during full swing RnRing I joked with my hubby that I would wear a different long coat to Tesco so they wouldn't recognise me at CS desk. When I took item to CS desk the SA said don't I know you - it was someone I had gone a training course with a few months earlier.:rotfl: No more disguises for me lol.

As RnR has gone I don't get as many misprices so not too worried about being recognised but I have been refused RnR in the past from being known.

found a couple today but for other reasons couldn't go to cs desk!

simple age resisting face wipes 2.60 pk sel said bogof but they weren't

boys beige trousers reduced from 3 to 1.75 but they went through at 4.00!

phat wheels cars on a hang up display 75p went through at 80p

    like buses.....................:D
coupon over here, coupon over there, every crack filled with coupons even down there
    (meaning under the buggy lol):D
  • If you can't find or the customer operated scanners in your store are disabled, what is the most discreet way of making sure an item scans the way you expect it to?

Is it best to use a self-service checkout to check the price or just not to bother and go through the normal checkout and voiding whatever appears at the right price?

i have noticed in tescos that certain sections sel's always expire on the same date, for example the (printer or phones?) sels were all 31/12/08

i was thinking it would be really handy if people could post on here when certain sections sel's are expiring??

hope this makes senses, is it a good idea??

im popping over in morning and would've been handy knowing if any sections sels had expired
