Yes it does Moonlight, [STRIKE] as long as you didn't [/STRIKE] even if you go through the self service checkout.

I took the trouble to correct this for you, remember folks just because the till is automated does not absolve Tesco of it's obligations to charge you the correct price for the product you purchase. Self service or csa if you are overcharged dtd kicks in, don't be fobbed off with any shlte about self service being excluded, the computer is the agent of the vendor as much as the csa is. You the consumer are NOT responsible for Tesco's pricing integrity.

Yesterday whilst checking through my receipt after paying for my shopping I spotted that I'd been charged twice for something.Went to CS and without hesitation was given double the difference.

I remember in the old days of R & R that if this happened, then some people claimed you got ALL your shopping for free,as you were charged more for your whole shopping, not just an idividual item.....Cant say I ever did this, maybe someone who did could remind us all !

  • Tesco Chicken Tikka sandwich filler.

They are on offer 2 for £2.50, on the SEL, it says £1.20 or 2 for £2.50. But individually they scan for £1.31, making it a 11p overcharge.

Not a big DtD and for obvious reasons can only be used on the single item.
  • so if tescos over charges u for something they have 2 give u back twice as much? im always getting overcharged 4 stuff so this could b good news 4 me!!!

overcharged even if you buy 2. 2 x £1.20 is £2.40 and yet they want to charge an extra 10p. another sneaky tesco ploy, you have to love them though or else we'd be bored !
