Free Green and Blacks Recipe Book (rrp £14.99) now free when you buy 2 (Green and Black butterscotch) 100g bar.(£1.75)

I do not know if this is available in all stores (I found it today in the Galleons Reach Tesco Extra, Beckton, London)
There was a tiny yellow shelf label. Seemed to be only on the butterscotch, did not see an expiry date, no other signage. Books were over in the book section, again no signage.
Missed out last time, so was surprised to see this. Lots of books and chocolate available. Sales assistants had no idea about it. hth

Did post this on the old thread, but then saw that it was in "gone but not forgotten" so I thought I would start a new thread - hope that's OK

edit; checked sel, valid on all G+B 100g bars.

I picked up 2 of these last week and like you was surprised to see it as I had no luck the last time. Offer was clearly displayed on the book shelf-edge and applied to any 2 bars of chocolate (I bought 4 different bars and 2 books which all went through together with no problem).

Seems to be in all Tesco Extra,
Read the shelf edge label properly, full details are:
buy any 2 Green and Blacks 100g chocolate and get the recipe book free. Offer ends 30/02/09 (yes I know that doesn't make sense, but that's what it said!)
Watford has plenty of chocolate but no books. CS said they will have some in soon, but no definite date. hth

i got mine yesterday...its really worth it as the book is rrp £14. It has 100 recipies in it!!!!! ALL CHOCOLATE!!!!!! yum yum got it at gallions reach tesco extra

Watford now has the books in stock, and lots of chocolate!
BUT - WATCH OUT. The tills have been incorrectly programmed, it only takes off £3.14 per book. SA's don't know about the problem, but cs are aware, they give you a cash refund. they are working on fixing it, but don't know when it will be fixed. So check your receipt carefully!

Basically if they over charge you they give the over paid money back x 2!

Did go back and try for the double the difference. CS manager was having none of it (even made him ring Tesco CS) so after 15 mins, (and me not knowing really how DtD works) I gave up, he said it was a checkout error not a pricing error. Meanwhile he asked an assistant about the rest of the books, she said they had been moved and 'raincheck' vouchers would be issued with the choc.
On going back today all the books were hidden on the top shelf behind a pile of Rick Stein. I have done my bit for book freedom and relocated the G+B to a free space. (Some are still hiding there as the shelf is too high for little me!)
About 8 books left. It is now working properly on the till. (Watford Tesco extra) hth

i saw the offer the other day but mine is quite a small tesco and didnt have any of the books around.

Tesco Dalmarnock road have these in stock - books on the top shelf along with rest of books but it does have a yellow sticker along shelf.
