I didn't like it; it's illiterate and is not a misprice.

My wife got us a good one today- noticed that a bottle of Yaldara Estate Shiraz Cabernet Durif had gone through the till at £7.99 when she was sure it was £3.99. Sure enough, after a couple of trips back to check, the SEL said Discontinued - £3.99. So of course I bought another three, before going to CS for my £32.00 refund (there were another four on the shelf but I thought that 8 would be taking the mick:rotfl:).

Ironically I've given up drinking so I don't get to enjoy the wine, but if you can find them, you're getting paid a penny to take away what looks like a nice bottle of wine. FILL YER BOOTS! But be quick, the CS lady spent some time on the computer after giving me my refund so I wouldn't be at all surprised if it's generating a warning to all stores showing stock:rolleyes:.

  • I have just been in Tesco Coldfield Drive Redditch about 6pm Wednesday 28th January. I picked up a pack of four Ruddles beers which had a cardboard surround saying buy 3 get 4th free. It was priced at £5.16. I picked it up thinking it was an error on the pricing label (as I had purchased some Ruddles beer without the offer a few days previously at £5.16 i.e 4 cans for £5.16. It went through the checkout at £5.16 when I queried it the girl went to the beers wines and spirits and was told no that was the correct price (which would have put the price for 4 cans at a laughable £6.88 (5.16/3 x 4). I was told at customer service that the beer must have gone up and they couldnt do anything about it. £6.88 for 4 cans of Ruddles is ludicrous.I would be interested to hear your comments. I know from previous experience that the gentleman in charge of that particular section is not very helpful. I am sure that this is not in line with consumer law. I am still looking at ways of getting to the bottom of this. Because Tesco didnt seem to care. The girls or at least 3 out of the 4 girls were quite concerned. The fourth seemed to think it was nothing to do with Tescos as it was not a Tescos product Hmmmmmmmmm anyone got any advice.
