Antifreeze (the windscreen wiper stuff) on a stall of "winter essentials" by the door. Small bottle priced at 87p, charged at 99p. Handy if you needed it anyway.0

Yeah, similar but the other one has got (currently) 44 "thanks" and quoia's only 24. Come on fellow Tesco Mispricers we can't have the Boots thread with more, hit that thanks button now!!!!!:T
Only got 2 "thanks" first time around....a lightbulb???
19 to post that this board is not about light bulbs, and to take this discussion, please, to a light bulb forum.0 -
Mine too :embarasse
Before finding this thread, I always used to wonder why so many staff seemed to be just wandering around the store looking as though they never had any 'work' to do- and yet not be caught out by their manager etc................... think I have found my answer lol.
There are very, very rarely any DTD at our stores.
I think they probably use this place to their advantage, much as we try to!!0 -
Tesco Express were last night selling 1 litre bottles of Volvic for 60p but the SEL was 53p at the fridges. Every little helps.0

Slightly off topic. My OH drinks Tesco Limeade ( as he is a recovering alcoholic and it is now his drinkk of choice!). However last week he went to buy some and it was a lighter Green and when he tasted it it just tasted like coloured soda water. So he took it back and the sa was quite rude and said something like " I would not know what it tastes like as it is full of rubbish" . He was taken aback and just took his refund and left. I went in later and bought another and brought it home and tasted it and it tasted of nothing, So I took it back and she offerred me a refund and said I was the 4th person to complain that day. We went in again today and all the bottles were the light colour so I found a supervisor and told her that they had not been removed even though there was something wrong with them. She said that if I bought one and it was not right customer services would send it off for testing. Now it is obvious thety have not taken any notice of the 4 people who returned the bottles. Then I told her what the SA had said to my husband and she said " I am sure that is not what she said". So I just said it is obvious you dont beleive me and said I will write to Head Office instead and I walked off. My husband then had to drive to another Tesco to get some and there they had the lighter ones at the front of the shelf and the proper ones at the back. So it would seem there was a bad batch but Tesco could not be bothered to get rid of them .Better to sell them to customers!!
I am going to write a strong letter to Tesco tonight. It may seem a fuss but my OH is 10 months dry and when you are not a drinker any more you try to stick to a drink you like as there is not so much choice.0 -

Perhaps to something a little cheaper to produce or maybe less sugar more sweetener to keep in with government drive to reduce sugars and use carcinogens instead.0 -
Or possibly Tesco have changed the recipe!

Firstly it does not say new recipe. Secondly it has no sugar in it but does have sweeteners already. It cant be as bad for you as 8-10 pints of Lager a day though!!0 -
Nope- complain away! I drink Diet lemonade every night (a mixture of not likeing the taste of water and having already subjected myself to 1 liter of plain water in the day time)
I usually buy Tescos own as its the cheapest. But they do have phases where some batches are good, others are really tasteless. I hate to say it but Tescos are not alone, Sainsburys, Asda, Waitrose...all the same, bad batches, good batches. At the moment I have gone over to Schwepps as Tescos own brand D.Lemonade is having a tasteless batch. I usually find thier batches last a month.0 -
Half price green grapes £1.98kg going through at £2.99kg. Big end of aisle promotion as well as on normal shelf.0
