I always burn candles down to the bottom, and expect them to be safe.

Dont do it with the T light candles as it burnt my coffee table.

I should have qualified my remark: if they're not already in a glass jar, they go in candle holders first. My lit candles are always placed on a glass worktop saver, usually balanced on the stove.

Saw the shopkins annual in my local store today, they also had Minions and Justin Beiber annuals.

Oh thanks Luckystar, didn't realise there were Justin Bieber annuals out there! My sis informs me my littlest niece is a fan - hopefully she'll grow out of that soon :p

Quick nip in to Trongate, Glasgow - J2O Spritz Apple & Watermelon bottles, 750ml. Can see them for £1.50-£2 elsewhere - though seems to be on offer at Tesco for £1 at the moment.

  • Thanks foe the mentions of the annuals I thought these weren't in until jan. I got a minecraft one today, my daughter enjoyed last years one from poundland. Also saw the nails inc nail varnishes in red, blue and glitter blue/green colours.

Thanks again for the heads-up about the other Annuals out there, managed to get a Bieber one, randomly cast aside at the Xmas section with a Shopkins annual (maybe that's all that's left and I've missed the full selection).

As I said on Facebook, it would be less embarrassing buying the notorious Poundland "Bullet"! :rotfl:

Tea light candles left unattended are dangerous.
A local house had its conservatory completely destroyed using them, luckily it didn't spread to the house. so becareful. ...

On my continued search for stylish gift wrapping I came across rolls of clear cellophane in the crafting section, along with organza gift bags (5 per pack) in a variety of colours including gold and silver.
