From Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow - more Colorsport Rapid Lash-Gro Eyeliner (in dark brown this time) 3.5ml and NYC Eyeshadow Palette (Highlighter/All Over Lid/Crease) - handy for popping in your bag!
    qgXxDAg.jpg
Also saw a side display with different patterned cushions in it (regular size) but they didn't have a price next to them!

Edit: The Colorsport liquid eyeliner has a brush, not the dreaded plastic nib that I hate so much on cheaper liquid eyeliners (though Colorsport are a decent-ish brand). The brown is more on the coppery end of brown when wet but dries to a darker shade - nice with blue eyes.

My very first liquid eyeliner circa 1989 was a Rimmel brown shade - finding brown liquid eyeliner is like looking for rocking horse poo! Quite impressed and will hunt down more.
  • Witch Pore Minimising Gel Wash and Blackhead Clearing Gel in my local.

I also found Simple Cleansing Wipes today too.

    Here's what I got earlier -

Wonder Woman makeup bag (Trongate, Glasgow). Twister Chocolate Balls With Strawberry Filling 160g (a bit like Lindor, actually quite nice!), NYC City Proof Buildable Mascara Black 8ml, NYC City Proof Intense Lip Colour 021 Parsons Pink (Union Street, Glasgow). Rare Tutti Fruitti Nail Art Kit 3 x 10ml (other varieties* available - Sauchiehall Street Glasgow).. I think I've remembered these stores correctly! Was in a mad rush today!

*One was Hey Sailor, can't remember the others! https://www.amazon.co.uk/RARE-Trio-Nail-Polish-Sailor/dp/B00R5OFLYE Linked to the clothing label Rare London maybe?

No reviews, how do you rate them, age range etc? I quite like the look of the Lakeland one.

    Hi VfM4meplse,
Both are hardback, and say adult supervision needed for children under 3, both have 5 thick cardboard pages.

In the Lakeland one each page has a 9 piece jigsaw puzzle with the same picture underneath, so 5 puzzles in total

In both books the text is 2-3 sentences per page so ideal for a bedtime story

I would say both are suitable for 3-6 year old girls

I don't have any children so I am hoping my guesses re ages are correct or i will be in trouble come Xmas day :rotfl:

Thanks Diamond, I looked in 2 branches today but no luck. The book section was a real mess, which didn't make my search any easier. I did however come across a single copy of a children's book that shares my niece's name, that can be a gift for when she starts reading. Not really worth £1 in value (despite a RRP of £6.99) but I knew I'd never see it again...so that was my Grabbit :D She'll be thrilled with it.

  • Glad you found something VfM4meplse :)

On the subject of presents for children I found some Paw Patrol card games
    http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Paw-Patrol-Snap-Card-Fish-Card-Game-Set-/322165105855

I was actually looking for the UNO card game but could not find it

Also unrelated I saw 1 Sleek make up palette, but someone had used it as a tester so no joy there for me
  • Me again, I think I am addicted……….Today I found
Craft crazy make your own kits at 2 for £1, 5 different kits in my store

Woolen bobble hat with fake fur pompom (similar to this, but not this), they also had matching gloves and fake fur scarfs.
    see here

Fake fur key ring/bag charm (similar to this, and definitely not this) but it does have both a clip and a key-ring option.

    Excuse the lopsided 1st picture!

From Argyle Street, Glasgow - Buddha ornament, Mens' Batman socks (often in stores but I thought this design was pretty cool), Peter Rabbit 2017 calendar (smaller size available - many others of course!). Wassen We Beautify Hair, Skin & Nails 30 tablets (BBE 5/2017) and Efamol Brain 60 Vegetarian Capsules (BBE 9/2017).

From Union Street - *that* hat in Brown (for my niece - thanks Diamond Mon!). Sleek Base Duo Kit 1.8g "Moisturising Cream-Liquid Foundation & Ultra Sheer Transforming Setting Powder" in 334 Shell and 337 Bamboo, Wonder Woman Roll On Eau De Toilette, 8ml.
    9TumJFy.jpg?1
Also in a few different Glaswegian stores - these Xmas cushions (assume they're £1? Couldn't see any signs in Argyle Street or Union Street).

    Photo from Argyle Street:
    rt5ZUxh.jpg?1
Edit: Full selection here, which confirms they are £1: http://www.poundland.co.uk/catalogsearch/result/?q=christmas+cushion

Another Edit: Here's the Sleek shades, in case anyone spots them and is unsure - http://i.ebayimg.com/images/g/8zEAAOSw2GlXFph~/s-l1600.jpg

Reviews of Wassen We Beautify (Silica Hi-Tan is actually to help with tanning, it seems - eek, I'm the palest person ever!) http://www.hollandandbarrett.com/shop/product/wassen-we-beautify-hair-skin-and-nails-silica-hi-tan-30-tablets-60004187 (£9.99 on there). Tanning isn't mentioned, strangely, on the instructions.

Can see Efamol Brain EnvirOmega Capsules for £9-odd elsewhere, but there's some reviews here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Efamol-Enviromega-Fish-Brain-Capsules/dp/B00QHZ1BOQ

PS - Poundland told me today (Friday) that these Xmas Cushions are "43 x 43cm". Measured one myself - I'd say they're more approx 40 x 40cm.
