From Trongate, Glasgow Poundland - Garnier Oil Control Complete (With Eucalyptus & Mattifying Clay) Vanishing Cream, Normal To Oily Skin 40ml.

Thought it would be good for my acne-prone niece. Blurb says "Instantly mattifies skin and helps control sebum and shine. Eucalyptus known to leave skin fresh and purified. Mattifying Clay known for skin regulating oil absorbing action. Anti-bacterial agents known for their purifying power." It's recommended to use SPF when using this. Seems to be made in South Africa, though has a Czech Republic sticker on it as well.

Also Easy Nails Fast & Fruity Acetone-Free Nail Polish Remover (Peach Fragrance) 50ml, has a sponge inside. Don't do what I did and let it roam free in your carrier bag, the lid on mine was a bit loose and some leaked
Edit: Can see some reviewers say Fast & Fruity is 89p in Home Bargains, though the reviews are a few years old.

LouLou be careful when you use the nail polish remover (if there's any left, oops!) I'm not sure 100% its the same one but it looks very similar to one I used a while ago that stripped the top layer off my nails,they may have changed the formula since then anyway but just in case maybe just try it on 1 nail tip first.

I have just come to the end of my first tube of this product and am going to repurchase as it's a lovely cream for oily/combination skin.


The clay prevents shine, but it is not drying.

Found kirstie alsopp hand wash and hand lotion today. 2 scents one rose and the other orange blossom. I really like the smell of the orange one. 400ml and paraben free.

Got some of this earlier in the summer but forgot to post, i thought this might have been a item they were going to only have for a limited time, but they had in again today. Saw all 3 flavours & when I checked when I got home it is the same 300g size stocked by the major supermarkets at a least £2.09.

I found some in my local Poundland but wouldn't have looked if you hadn't posted!

Thanks to everyone who tells us what they find in their branches.....I find it much more cost effective to go into Poundland with products in mind.

And not just fill my basket ad hoc.....which I still do sometimes of course :rotfl:

Boxes of icecream cones and wafers in a mixed box 25p in Poundland!!!!

There was a clearance basket in my Poundland everything 25p, large balls knitting yarn, reading glasses, icecream cones, nail varnish and sunglasses, all very random but worth a look when you are next in your local.
