I finally found the Garnier Oil Control Complete in a Newcastle store at the weekend. At the till the girl told me to go get another as they were two for £1! There wasn't a sign to this effect, but worth checking if you find some in stock.

Quick dash into Sauchiehall Street for goodies for the cinema - they had 250ml J2O cans 2 For £1 (Orange & Passionfruit or Raspberry & Apple), my preferred option as I'm not that keen on most fizzy pop.

Picked up this Zhu Zhu Pets Mini for stockings (one, for £1, of course) :)

This store has more of the Burt's Bees balms (plenty there tonight at 6pm) if anyone's trying to hunt them down - still Calla Lily shade.

Re the Garnier at 2 for £1, someone on Hotukdeals posted as such, feel ripped off now! You'd think it would come up at the till :(

They're not so abundant elsewhere, time to Grabbit whilst it lasts.

These were available in the 99p store - prior to poundland takeover and were always advertised as 2 for 99p - so this offer seems to have carried on. I got 2 from the 99p store and did not like it at all!!

Poundland Argyle Street, Glasgow - Alpen Apple & Raspberry Muesli 560g, 2 for £1 Cadbury's Fingers Salted Caramel Crunch (also in Salted Peanut Crunch) - Cadbury's Cookies are also 2 for £1, may be others. Caffe Italia Dark Roast Ground Coffee (I know people don't really like these but they're a different variety to the "red" packet, thought I'd give it a go) 250g.

Also, Barry M Glossy Tube Super Shine Lipgloss 10ml shade 4 Matt Pink (trying to find swatches), L'Oreal Caresse Lipgloss 6ml shade 400 Eve (swatches: http://i557.photobucket.com/albums/ss20/akisalove/BeautySwatch/LOrealShineCaresse3_zps6bcab572.jpg
Review here http://amore-cosmetici.blogspot.co.uk/2013/12/loreal-shine-caresse-400-eve.html not as scary-purpley on the lips as the colour in the tube implies)

Union Street, Glasgow - Westlab Pure Mineral Bathing Himalayan Salt 500g (last one on the shelf).

*Edit 6th Oct: Picked up 200 Princess and 501 Bonnie shades (L'Oreal Lipgloss) as well earlier - may be more out there!

    Thank you!! :hello:

I just picked up two boxes for £1 :j

There was no indication anywhere near the product of the 2 for £1 price, so I asked at the checkout and the assistant assured me they were 2 for £1.

Thank you... a real bargain :j

Big thumbs up for the L'Oreal Caresse lipglosses! I'm not crazy about lipgloss as it's generally too sticky and tends to disappear after an hour or two. These feel more "luxurious" on application, not sticky, and seem to last better than other glosses. They even have a subtle taste to them, some sort of berry taste.

£7.99 at Boots, assume these are similar? http://www.boots.com/en/LOreal-Paris-Glam-Shine-Stain-Splash_1309088/ Wish I'd picked up more for myself (as ever, I bought them with Xmases/birthday presents in mind)!

I've tried both 501 Bonnie (a sort of neutral coral) and 400 Eve (looks purple-lilac but goes on pinky). Glad I bought them now!

Edit: Reviews suggest the colours are build-able but I prefer a subtle, sheer look, I use a light touch.
