Do you remember the small spring form cake tins that were mentioned quite a bit a while ago? Well at the moment in Poundland you can get boxes which are actually designed to hold four cupcakes but are a pretty good fit for cakes made in the small tins. The boxes are slightly on the large side but not too bad and look good. 3 boxes for a pound.

One for the boys: Hole saws with an arbor. I got a 54mm yesterday. I'd needed one anyway but was a bit reluctant to spend a fiver or more just to cut one hole so this was a great find for me. They also have a smaller double ended one but can't remember the exact size.

Picked up some hair chalks today think it's derma10 or something, one of their usual skincare ranges. I've put them away for dd's Xmas stocking, so no idea if they are any good but worth a shot at a £1

That's fine, it will go the same way as the rest of the recycling. Net gain will still be £1.45 although the environmental damage immeasurable

I got one of their Neoprene 15" laptop covers at the weekend. Really good fit and decent quality. I got a blusher from the new make up range but not overly impressed with that - not a lot of colour to it.

I'm not happy with the blusher from the new range either. It seems to either sit on top of my skin, or not appear at all. You have to put loads on to get any colour, then it cakes on and it doesn't blend in at all, just comes off.

Might be something to do with your skin? I put the blush on top of a tinted moisturiser base, it's fine and the colour suits me.

The liquid eyeliner works well. It stings a bit on application, I think it's just me though.
