This is a pre-emptive post as I've been looking for a ceramic mug with silicon lid for transporting hot tea whilst driving. Prices vary but usually hover around the £5 mark but Poundstretcher has them for £2.49. If previous trends are followed, its just a matter of time before they end up in Poundland or The 99p Store, could regular posters keep an eye out for me please?

Saw this in The 99p Store yesterday. Suitable for vegetarians - I assume they just taste of salt and vinegar?

They have real Christmas trees in at the minute, they are about 7" tall, in 6cm size plastic black pots.



Bought a couple today which will be potted in larger pots ready to go outside once the weather starts to get a bit better.

I got 2of these on thursday gave 1 to my granddaughter to look after till next xmas youngest is 10 shes made up last year i gave them a miniture rose each not good mine out lived both and im not exactly the best with plants so we are hoping for the best this year

I thought I would make the effort.

The roots are coming out of the bottom of each plant so they look like they are strong little fellas!

I will have to buy a couple of cheap planters the next time I am in Poundland, ready for early spring. The trees can stay in the house until then (I use the term tree loosely).

Sally Hansen is a great nail polish brand. Their "complete salon manicure" line has a great shine and is long lasting. Look for 404 Grainge. Brilliant colour.


SH is well known in North America and does lots of nail strengthening type products.

Samsonite 10.1" punched leather case for Galaxy 2 Tab

Should fit all 10" tablets, verified fits the Linx 10 (which I was lucky to get from the Staples' offer before Xmas)

I'll update if I see any other brands of tablets fitting this case...the camera lens or charger section may be an issue for some.

Edit: (Bearing in mind I'm using a Linx 10). Not a perfect fit for the cameras on this tablet (front camera usable, the rear slightly covered by the case). But the camera's pretty carp on a Linx 10 anyway!

Decided to put the Linx 10 in "upside down" it obscures the Windows Home button otherwise. The charger slot is at the side, but that's not a problem. Definitely worth a pound

Another Edit: On HUKD someone implied the case is leather, I suspect it's PU...but it's still a very well-made case and looks smart
