Hi Tawny_Owl:Asorry to hear you have problems with Poundland's emails, I've never had an issue (I have hotmail.com and hotmail.co.uk addresses)? Not email-techy enough to speculate what the problem might be. Maybe you could use their Contact Form http://www.poundland.co.uk/help/contact-us/ or ask your email provider?
In Argyle Street, Glasgow Poundland got I some Kallo Rice (and Corn) Cakes yesterday. In Caramel or Blueberry And Vanilla varieties in the regular packets, and a six pack of Yoghurt Rice Cakes (probably my favourite!!) http://www.poundland.co.uk/food-and-drink/cakes-biscuits-and-hot-drinks/cakes/sso-100g-kallo-yog-rice-cakes
Edit 1st Feb: Saw six packs of Milk or Plain Chocolate varieties of Kallo Rice Cakes in Sauchiehall Street Poundland earlier.0 -

I noticed last time I was in they had paracetomol capsules 3 for £1.
These are usually considerably more expensive than tablets or caplets.
When i've a cold or mucky throat I always take capsules- even though they are bigger in size- I can't stand the taste of the coating on the others!0 -

Thanks for the post, and the blog. The colours are nice, but if you look at the photos carefully, the product bleeds (a common problem I find with glosses). Not a good look and enough to stop me from using a product twice. Having said that, the lipsticks in the new Ppiundland range don't bleed
The other day I picked up a thermal lidded mug (part of the Valentine's Day promotion). Its a good size, but a synthetic resin. Can only be a matter of time before the lidded ceramic ones make an appearance. Also plastic measuring beakers, these are handy as I'm sure it's a matter of time before my Pyrex one gets smashed!Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
