M.U.G display now in Swansea Oxford Street - very popular as there were lots of gaps. Sadly, the only powders and blushers left had broken inside the packaging - I'll have to go back (:D).

Lots of Frozen bits and pieces.

Same for the stand in Ealing, but as there was so little on display I enquired as to whether it had ever been full of stock. The answer was no.

    No stand in Stratford, E15...yet

  • Just noticed that the massive Poundland in Leeds City Centre has closed down, due to 'circumstances beyond our control'. I'd have thought that the run up to Christmas would have been their busiest period - wonder if they're reducing their shops at all?

Which one? St John's centre? I was planning a trip there tomorrow!!
  • They had some makeup in mine. They had a choice of about 20 different lipstick colours with testers but only three of them were in stock!

They had some SO! Perfumes, choice of three small bottles. I had a sniff of the Victoria Beckham promotional fragrance but wasnt keen so resisted.

Foxes wholemeal crackers (packs of four) boxed.

I think it must have been a landlord / lease issue. There is no way that a branch of Poundland ever loses money, they have a winning formula that works particularly well in deprived areas.

  • I noticed that having looked on the website, what our nearest Poundland, in Darlington had in stock was significantly different. There was no mention of Original Source shower gels and handwashes on the site, but the store had loads.

I loved the range of snacks from Tasty Snacks. There were Japanese rice crackers 180g, honey roast cashews 100g, wasabi nuts 200g and others that we didn't get. The bags didn't look like pound shop buys and neither did the contents.

300g packets of 4 Cheese Ravioli were 2 for £1, snapped up these. If they are half as good as Aldi's they will be fine.

I got a lovely seasonally scented spicy Zoflora disinfectant that's nicer smelling than most air fresheners.
I liked a lot of the Christmas decorations range, which isn't always the case, one that wasn't on the website was a 'Christmas' wooden cut-out in a muted, tasteful tartan.
They had chocolate gingerbread hearts as well, as seen at Aldi and Lidl, plain chocolate. Love these.
