I tried the blusher, nice colour and it lasts0

They had Rimmel scandalous eye liner gels in my local. A pot of gel with a brush for application. The only colours I saw were blue and purple.0

Found in Trongate, Glasgow Poundland yesterday: Zebra Z-Grip Funky Pens (twin pack):
(Can only seem to find them on the internet in packs of 3, but these are definitely a duo pack of one variety).
Justified getting a few as boyf has a habit of hijacking my pen stash, and he might be more reluctant to walk around with a "girly" pen!
Edit 22/11: They also sell 3 x Zebra Funky Pencils in packs of three, with eraser tops. Also Zebra Union Jack Edition 3 x pens, in red, black and blue.0 -
When in Poundland, Sauchiehall Street (Glasgow) yesterday, I noticed they were setting up an own-brand makeup stall, Makeup Gallery. Wonder if it will be on a par with the Superdrug range MUA* which started off with £1 cosmetics? (Of which I have and use a few items: great pigmentation and value for £1).

Lip glosses, lipsticks, foundations, concealers, pressed powder, varnishes, kohl pencils, blushers, mascaras, etc.
Has anyone tried this range yet? Having a permanent, extensive makeup range may be a good idea, but they are up against pricier brands (though temporary overstock/old ranges) such as Revlon, Maybelline, Sally Hansen, Rimmel, etc. I think Poundland's current makeup range is Chit Chat?
*MUA (Makeup Academy) is owned by FB Beauty who do Vivo, Look Beauty, Famous By Sue Moxley (or at least, did), Accessorize makeup, even Glee, Love Hearts and JLS perfumes! Wonder if Makeup Gallery is made by the same company...
If MUA = MakeUp Academy, then what would the short name for
MakeUp Gallery be?
PS I'm not a Poundland hater, I have shedloadsof good brand named nail polishes from there! And a pile of Belkin accessories too!
I love Poundland0 -

Happy to wear, eg, Suddenly Madame Glamour EDP (Lidl knockoff of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle) instead of Chanels now and then...
To thifty makeup buyers and in the world of blogging, the brand MUA is quite well-known, maybe not to everyone, then :cool:0 -
The victoria beckham ladies perfume on offer for 8 pounds is a lovely daytime scent which is sophisticated, feminine, classy and subtle, it is extremely good value for money and smells expensive and not cheap. It has long been a favourite of mine and is not overpowering. It is a well crafted floral and a good dupe for Coco Madamoiselle0

Fragrantica really seems to love it: http://www.fragrantica.com/perfume/David-Victoria-Beckham/Intimately-Beckham-1948.html
I balk at most celebrity perfumes (though I LOVE the pure parfum edition of Mariah Carey's Luscious Pink, can't stand her, though!). Curious about the Beckham scent after reading the rave reviews on there.0
