MUA makeup is good. I like the lipbalm tints there like the Clinique chubby sticks.

I saw the "MUG" joke on the Daily Mail page a few days ago though, still made me laugh! I don't mind using cheap ranges if they're good. Looking forward to seeing reviews for the Makeup Gallery range.

Happy to wear, eg, Suddenly Madame Glamour EDP (Lidl knockoff of Chanel Coco Mademoiselle) instead of Chanels now and then...

To thifty makeup buyers and in the world of blogging, the brand MUA is quite well-known, maybe not to everyone, then

Mortified to have been beaten by the Daily Mail, of all the newspapers in the world.

Just to keep on topic, my local had loads of the Frozen stuff in at the weekend and no-one seemed to be looking at it even!

There is nothing wrong with being thrifty. I once loved Nars cosmetics. Looking back I cringe when I think of the amount I once spent. The MUA range is good quality as well as saving lots of money. The eye and blusher sets rival urban decay's.

  • I went to Ashington Poundland today and they still had 'Frozen' hair detangler, big pack of handbag individually wrapped tissue packs different pictures), and I think baby wipes?

Also Disney handwarmers - all of the princesses, plus a little round tin of cookies with Cars/Mickey/Princesses on. Sorry if they always stock these items, I can't get there very often.

Also picked up Chapstick shimmer which was marvellous, my daughter has asked for the £5 Burt's Bees one so saved me some money!

Went on the prowl for the new make-up yesterday - nothing in my local store. Found a huge stand today at the Ealing Broadway branch, sadly little stock on it. Bought some blush, a concealer, eyebrow pencil and a lipstick (the only shade that might suit me). It doesn't brilliantly, but the blush I chose is a lovely peachy colour. The concealers and lipsticks were sealed but the mascaras noticably were not :o
