I bought a blueberry plant two years ago and it has done nothing. It is alive but doesn't grow - I have fed it and it is in ericaceous compost, but nothing.

I bought one last year and mine didn't have any blueberries: but neither did the much bigger blueberry bushes I got from a garden centre and they cost more than £1!

This year, the Poundland bush is making some growth, but the (much bigger) bushes I got from the garden centre, have really grown and have lots of flowers. As someone said, the Poundland bushes are cuttings and take time to grow, but they only cost £1 (unless you can get some cuttings from a friend for free).
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

Went back to Poundland to replace the things I lost yesterday, of course I bought more stuff I don't really need.. :p

Maybelline "High Heel" mascara in blue or brown-black (I have a similarly-packaged older mascara of theirs called "Stiletto", not sure if it's renamed, it looks identical otherwise).

Saw Sony CD-Rs, boxes of five, in Argyle Street and Trongate, Glasgow, not that I use them any more, barely even use DVDRs.

Months after I was looking for them (for a Xmas Stocking), came across Thomas The Tank Engine bath crayon sets in Argyle Street, just a few left, tucked at the back of a shelf.

Team Hot Wheels cars (Trongate) that look really cool for little boys, and big boys! :)

Miners' Complexion Collection highlighter/blusher kits (Argyle Street): http://i.ebayimg.com/t/Miners-Complexion-Blush-Highlighter-Collection-/00/s/MzE5WDQ5Mg==/z/SHUAAOxyY9VRM0bZ/$T2eC16RHJGwE9n)yTU2pBRM0bZUIbQ~~60_12.JPG

No Venus Fly Traps to be found, bah. :(

I brought that Maybelline mascara and it's actually really good. I went back and got some more so I ended up with x2 brown and x2 blue.

The blue is more of a teal like colour - not electric blue. Lovely stuff
  • I got some Thomas the Tank Engine jelly sweets in the Bury branch the other day. Only a medium sized bag so not a grabbit in terms of quantity - but all the sweets are shaped like the characters so a good buy for a Thomas mad child! (or adult...)

I bought one of those mushroom packs and have a feeling I am going to end up with one rather expensive mushroom!

I believe it's best to buy snowdrops in the green for success.
