in both pounlands in my local town today they had china travel cups that I had just seen in New Look for £3 in the sale....

Christmas decs had started to go down to 50p... (They still had some good ones)

They also had scarfs for £1 similar to the one I bought from Primark a few weeks ago for £4 (they are knitted fine wool that seem to have elesticay stuff in, and the only difference seems to be the lack of glittery threads)...

    Stashbuster - 2014 98/100 - 2015 175/200 - 2016 501 / 500 2017 - 200 / 500 2018 3 / 500

Evidence that you don't need to spend much to make your kids happy :T:T:T

In fact I think kids are happier with several low value gifts that one expensive one, until they learn the value of money.

Son number two asked for a cardboard box one Christmas. It was on his letter to Santa. The box was a boat, a car, a house and a spaceship and we both had great fun putting stickers on it and colouring it in. When he was finished with it (and it was more than a little worse for wear) it got recycled. He's 10 now and has asked for a day out at Go Ape and some Halo Mega Bloks so still not materialistic. His older brother wanted a Physics book and the little fella wanted a pack of cars. Kids are great before the greed and materialism strikes.

Back on topic - the make up brush is great and gave fantastic coverage with my usual Mac nightmare to apply foundation (have to use it as it was too expensive to bin).
  • The thorntons 2 for £1 were scanning at 0.00 in Portsmouth today!!

now I feel ripped off! (same store)

    only joking! :rotfl:

PS did they let you "buy" them? and if so how many were you allowed -or did you just have 2 in your basket? (sorry for being nosy, just wondered).
A waist is a terrible thing to mind.
