Not poundland but in the Sam 99p shop (there are a few around south London), bottles of Carrefour (the French supermarket chain) washing machine detergent liquid. It's 20 washes and normally costs €4.69 a bottle. The label is in French, Dutch and Spanish which is probably why no one else was buying them as they didn't know what it was.

perhaps this should be on the 99p store thread?

no idea which thread this should be on.

perhaps the poundworld thread would be a good place for this?

No. That's for the 99p store. This is the SAM 99p shop which is different and doesn't have a thread of its own. Poundland thread people, I apologise for my misguided post and won't post in future.

Was pleased to discover Simon Pegg's autobiography in the Mansfield store which I've picked up for my brother to pop in the present box. Before Christmas I also found him the 'Pocket Book of Boosh'...bargain!

I found your post useful and will keep my eyes out for a SAM shop and this detergent as it is a good price if it washes well, so thanks from me anyway, and sorry for any thread derailment from me.
