In a very poor attempt to get some order back I have:-
Changed Bed and cleaned kitchen (the same kitchen that DH made 300+ pies and Pavlovas in), which is a massive job.
Didn't do my knicker drawer because I have OCD about it and it is always perfect. Bought drawer boxes from Ikea and have one for knickers (all folded) and one for bras and they are in colour order (can't believe I shared that)
My DH is a messy messy pup - have I mentioned that before.
On a good note, the garage is almost a bakery - inside plastered so should be able to paint next weekend - which means we can start putting stuff in, which means I get the kitchen, study, dining room and utility room back and we can empty some of the boxes which are in the spare room - there is light at the end of the tunnel!
I have to go to shop now but need to change because I am so messy after cleaning kitchen!!!!!!!

I'm actually building up the enthuisiasm to take a roll of black bags to my room and FLING evrything! Not bothering with eBay, sorry Piggers, but there is far too much to sort through and my camera is knackered anyway. Will charity shop and dump.
Me too Tiamai - much quicker to bag it all and take to charity shop, or to dump. In fact I have just broken up DDs toy easel/blackboard which was not fit to pass on - not even on Freecycle, as the wood had all been written on - would need sanding, painting so instead I will pass it to NDNs who have a chimnea. I had been hanging on to this, (why? goodness knows??) and storing it in my bedroom, gathering dust.
Mind you this 'flinging' is getting easier - or I'm getting ruthless! But I've got time, in the school hols, to really consider why and if I 'need' all these things that I don't use, don't appreciate and in some cases don't even like. When DD chucks out - I let her. I used to say 'you can't get rid of that X gave it you' Now it's 'if you don't want it let's get rid of it' - even unused xmas gifts go now, usually to a charity shop. Sometimes I freecycle, it depends.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Ooh you'll have to go all 1940s and wear a headscarf (over your curlers, natch) and a pinafore and be redmadders!
(D'you know when I was a kid I'd go into town with my ma on a sat morning and there were ladies shopping, hair in curlers, covered in headscarves, ready for getting ready to go out saturday night!)

:grouphug: to my peg pal Tag and mentor Sarahshattered
Tag bring it round here; Sarah pop over too and while it's drying I'll get the vino and choccys out! (Within a month of us getting Sky inc Sky sports Mr Valli was out on his a**e) - mind you we had been having problems but sky sports (he'd watch ANYTHING) was the final straw:p . Contract cancelled - it now is used for Freeview channels only.
Thanks Bab!!! :beer:And PMSL about the Sky sports. :rotfl: :rotfl: Anyone can call me what they like, (usually a complete b*tch) but there is no way we'd have that in our house. I get p*ssed off about Match of the Day. :rotfl: Mr and Mrs Shattered would definitely be getting a divorce if we got more sports stuff in our house!!!
Feeling much better now, having prised my fat *rse off the sofa and cleaned the kitchen. Put the WM, DW and the TD on. Mr Shattered is feeling all loved up after getting lots of cards, texts, and phone calls, bless:rolleyes:
And our friend is babysitting for us, so we're going out tonight :j :j :jMMSSB Club Founder Member

I get filthy doing anything! I can't even eat without dropping something all down my top (or jeans earlier). I never give my kids into trouble for getting dirty asI am almost always dirtier!
I have started using a piny to bleach stuff as I have ruined too many nice tops/jeans and even socks!
Right, off for a whizz round.0 -

Tia I always use a pinny.... I even refer to it as 'The Pinny Of Power'
In my case I got sick of getting fat stains on my clothes when I was cooking.MMSSB Club Founder Member
