Now have any of you got a solution or a way of dealing with 'M-u-u-u-m have you seen my...'

Yes ladies - in aother words not only do we cook, clean, wash, iron and generally slave inside (and in some cases do paid work outside) the house we are also expected, at a moment's notice to be able to locate mobile phones, MP3 players, memory sticks (data pens or whatever you call them), remote controls (like we're allowed to use them!!) keys, pass cards etc etc. Because they abandon this stuff whenever they walk through the door and then can't find it.

So I'm throwing this one open to you. Any ideas?

I always find that I get a case of selective deafness if I happen to here any of the above mentioned in our house. Normally followed by a rapid disappearing act. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

VALLI Get a big fruit bowl or basket and put it near to where they come in - hallway kitchen or wherever is best and get them to put all these bits in it when they come in and then they know where they are when they go out again!! If they are not in the bowl then its their job to find them - not yours!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

    Tf xx

P.s. RACH Brilliant news about the cheque - what a relief for you and a 'happier' ending - now you can move on and put it behind you XX

Anyone else having a rubbish day?

I washed the king size mattress protector on my bed this morning, seeing as it was brilliant sunshine. As soon as it was finished it rained. So now it won't be dry in time for bedtime tonight. I don't have a TD you see.

DH is welded yet again to the [STRIKE]'masters' [/STRIKE]'a*$£*%!@'s' chair watching more sport. Oh how wonderful. I'm bloody sick of it weekend in weekend out.:mad::mad: Rant over

TAG - poor you, sport can be so annoying! or men who watch endless sport.

got my cheque paid in and then we went out for a celebratory lunch - only paninis, coffee and cake at neros but still nice. was nice to have a proper chat with DH too whilst we sat as we've been so busy recently with his study etc. am currently watching grand designs on tv and then at 3 i'm gonna do an hour of my list and then see where i've got to. first job is to de-hair the hoover brush as its clogged up (i have long hair!), then priorities are bathroom (loo inlet is leaking but will ring landlord monday am), bedroom & hoovering through.
