Thanks for the advice re: sleeping. I have a friend who I "talk" to (we text and message each other through another forum) about things, and I write him HUGE PMs with it all in and he advises me the best he can. My problem is when I get to bed my mind starts whirling and when I do finally go to sleep I have very vivid dreams some of which wake me up. They drive me mad, but I've always been someone who can remember their dreams, its just these ones are ones I'd rather forget but even now, I can remember vividly dreams I had last week. If I go back over my PM's to my friend (where I describe these dreams) my recollection is 99% accurate even now.
I'm going into town today and I'm going to see if I can pick up a cheap CD-stereo for my bedroom, then I'm going to start listening to some Paul McKenna CDs when I go to sleep, I also need a cheap lamp so when I doze off I don't have to get back up to switch the main light off which seems to wake me up again
Any ways, I'm also off to TJ Hughes today as apparently they've got a tombola on where you can win up to £100 worth of shopping vouchersI'm going to check out their curtains section while I'm there to see if there are any bargains which I can invest in
Laters
I don't know if this will help you, but when I go to sleep my mind is never quiet! Infact a few nights ago my mind did go quiet and it was so strange it was unsettling too. Then clowns started prancing around trying to buiold a wall... anyway....
I go oven and over things constantly, all day all night and when it comes to sleeping time. But I have found that I can still nod off easily enough by letting my mind ramble on but 'over there'. To me it feels like the noise is happening in the right side of my brain at the top, but the rest of it can switch off and go to sleep.
Then when I do sleep I lucid dream. SO I am at times aware that I am dreaming and can mess about. I also remember dreams in vivid detail and have horrible dreams at times before I can 'wake' in my dream and change it.
It takes a while to train yourself to to be able to let your mind whirl away and get to sleep but it is possible. Try to let the thoughts run their course but in the back of your mind and use the front of your mind to concentrate on your breathing, in pause out pause, not changing it but just being aware of the rythm of your breathing.
Or maybe I'm just a weirdo! :T0 -

Anyone else having a rubbish day?
Well I was until I met THE HAIRY BIKERS!!! They are appearing locally cooking queenies (it's Marine Day) so we had our photos taken with them. What lovely guys they are. Very friendly. Much bigger than I though they were though!!!
Then we went to the dump and I managed to pick up a self-freezing ice cream maker for baksheesh, mahala, gratis, nothing and for free!!! :rotfl:It just needs a clean. We did have one of those where you put the bowl in the freezer, but I don't think they are much good - they are defrosting while they are supposed to be freezing your icecream. This one's huge, so I just have to find somewhere to put it.
This is my first post this week. Probably because I just can't keep up over the hols. I'm just trying to stop the dust and crumbs piling up around my ears for the next few weeks :rotfl:

OK! What does it ay about me that I have spare parts for the TD in my pant drawer?! :rotfl:
One grey bra chucked, 4 pairs of knickers, 2 tiny going out bags relocated, one belt found and 3 airmail packets that had been hidden from DH are now in the bin, right at the bottom! LOL!
I need to go buy new pants though... :j0 -
And now I need :coffee:
Kids room has been destroyed by aliens and a bad doggy... apparently....
I'm actually building up the enthuisiasm to take a roll of black bags to my room and FLING evrything! Not bothering with eBay, sorry Piggers, but there is far too much to sort through and my camera is knackered anyway. Will charity shop and dump.
Thats means emptying the car right enough... bah do that later!0 -
