Do you find, Nicki, that your ex communicates through your DD? After my lucid, sensible phone call to mine earlier this week, during which he said he would need evidence (ie a letter) that he has access to kids and they can stay overnight with him (some housing/council requirement so he can get a 3 bedroom one, I suppose) and I said I'd write one, I've had a message, through DD that he needs one. Clearly she hasn't the first clue - because I 'have to write a letter saying her dad has power over her!' I think he should have the good grace to ask me, direct.
Ex and I have communication - via email & text, in person, we both have blogs (not that either of us keeps them that up to date :rotfl: ) etc. I can be a MAJOR bi*ch though at times (combination of stress & hormones & lack of sleep usually - and everyone keeps out my way then including DD) and when that happens it usually happens through a text so nothing is said or done for days until he texts DD to let her know arrangements for him seeing her on the Sunday (yes, my 7-year-old has a mobile of her own :rolleyes: It was my idea so that she can keep in touch with whomever she is away from, free SIM and my old mobile so only costs top-ups
£15 since Christmas!
)
I had a major blow out at him over last weekend (stress & hormones, compounded by disturbed/lacking sleep) and he hasn't bothered speak to me at all through the week but did text/email DD (oh, she has her own email too - but only accessed through me
) and today he offered (through remembering something :eek: ) to do something for me so I took that as a "I know you blew up...lets leave that behind and move on with stuff"
We can but try...
