I'm 27 and I feel so old using a pinny! :rotfl: I even close the blinds if there are people that can see me outside!

But I guess it puts you in 'clean' mode, feels like a real break when you take it off for a cuppa and saves your clothes.

I need to get a nice pinny though, mine is one I wore when I was a florist..... when I was 16..... it's a blue tabbard number with huge front pocket.

DInner is started, Mac cheese and a baked pot. I'm loving this meal planning! Tommorrow is lasagne and I have 2lb of mince to cook, use and freeze the rest for thursdays spaggy bolly.

and whilst i'm at it...all this talk of smears - think i've got a few months before i'm due one - they had to do it 3 times last time as they kept not getting a good enough sample and the 3rd time i went back had to get the dr in to do it!

anyway, on 19th Sept I'm doing a 20 mile overnight hike with other girls from work, for a cancer charity called Maggie's Centres and if anyone wanted to sponsor me a quid or two i'd be really grateful (but absolutely no compulsion) the page is https://www.justgiving.com/theravingramblers

Afternoon/evening.....I'll say afternoon because we haven't eaten yet!

Horrible day here, pouring with rain on and off all day (and drizzling in between). It was really cold this morning but it has at least warmed up a bit.

One load of washing hanging upstairs.

I'm glad to read that other people are messy too. I can't do anything without dropping it/knocking it over/spilling it. And I'm dreadful when I'm eating!

Met up with other executor of uncle's estate so we can start planning funeral etc.

    That's all.

I get filthy doing anything! I can't even eat without dropping something all down my top (or jeans earlier). I never give my kids into trouble for getting dirty asI am almost always dirtier!

I have started using a piny to bleach stuff as I have ruined too many nice tops/jeans and even socks!

Right, off for a whizz round.

Have to say I do tolerate my kids getting dirty - but I get a little grumpy when they go stream scrambling in their trainers! We have lots of open areas round here and, obviously, a stream. Can't keep kids out of water. Mind you - I'd have no chance cos my sisters told my kids about the messes and scrapes I used to get into! When we first moved here though I didn't know how muddy our back garden can get - and I let them play out - (they were much younger then) and they got absolutely filthy - I made them remove EVERY item of clothing on the back doorstep - but inside - and bunged it straight into the machine and them in the bath!:rotfl: :rotfl:

It is our first wedd ann tomorrow but no big plans, maybe just out for tea.

Bought him jeans and tee shirts (which he really needs) and he will not be pleased - 'clothes - great pressie - NOT' but what the hell. 1st ann is paper - and I bought them in Gap and they use paper bags - how thoughtful am I, LOL

    Top planning - a paper bag. :T

I have completely forgotten where I posted today's list but I have
Level 3'd the mistress's bedroom. I'm master in this house, as I have no doubt mentioned?

Including moving almost all furniture to vacuum under and all skirtings well dusted. Yee Hah! Shame only I'll enjoy it:p

Bedroom cleaned 2 weeks running. Ye gods! - Armageddon approaches;)

Hope all those of you off out tonight will have an ace time. :T Me - I'll be filing my paperwork, cleaning out my handbag  and investigating the possibilities of meal planning. Is that another thread? (I hope it's not the grocery challenge thread - they seem far to serious over there and I bet they know nothing about pegs!) ;);)

OK! What does it ay about me that I have spare parts for the TD in my pant drawer?! :rotfl:

One grey bra chucked, 4 pairs of knickers, 2 tiny going out bags relocated, one belt found and 3 airmail packets that had been hidden from DH are now in the bin, right at the bottom! LOL!
