My sister thinks I should get one of those plastic bibs with the lip on the bottom so I can collect all the food I drop whilst eating!

Did HHC - and managed to empty DW, vacuum downstairs and kitchen and general tidy up - might even go back and strike out list. BUT I am p@ssed off cuz once again I am spending my day off cleaning - that was not supposed to happen - DH promised it wouldn't. Think I will concentrate on at least trying to do level 1 & 2 each evening when I come home from work and maybe I will get to have a weekend next time!

So ladies pinnys!!!!!!!!!! Um, always thought they were granny attire but am beginning to see the wisdom behind them! Already changed twice today so maybe it is time to get with the '40's and get myself a little cleaning number!!! AAAAAArrrrrrrgggggggggg I really am 40

Hope all those of you off out tonight will have an ace time. :T Me - I'll be filing my paperwork, cleaning out my handbag  and investigating the possibilities of meal planning. Is that another thread? (I hope it's not the grocery challenge thread - they seem far to serious over there and I bet they know nothing about pegs!) ;);)

Oooohhhh it might be! I've just had another look over there and some familar names in the 'put me down for £XXX angelnicki' list.

Maybe I could plan meals without grocery challenging. Most I ever do, usually, is make one and freeze 1 - shepherd's pie. But the banana cake was going uneaten so I froze the final third to reappear magically when kids are hungry. Think it's because DS is in love and spends almost all his time at his GFs. She's only 13 - I think her parents want to keep an eye on her - can't say I blame 'em. Trouble is, for them, they are having to feed the child because it's too far from home for him to return for food. She doesn't seem to want to eat here (I DID NOT deliberately burn the pizza) - can't think why:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

hey Pigpen - there's a flylady skiving over there, too! LOL

Have a great night out Sarah!

It is our first wedd ann tomorrow but no big plans, maybe just out for tea.

Bought him jeans and tee shirts (which he really needs) and he will not be pleased - 'clothes - great pressie - NOT' but what the hell. 1st ann is paper - and I bought them in Gap and they use paper bags - how thoughtful am I, LOL

Thanks RMC and Congrats on your 1st anni!!!!

RMC I am with you doing a bit each day next week!

....and i wish i'd worn a pinny, went to fill a glass of water in the kitchen, water somehow ricoched off a microfibre cloth that was in the sink and i'm now soaked, as is the kitchen floor....and we're about to go to the in laws for dinner. hopefully it will dry as i can't be ar@ed to change now.

DH has just rearranged his cds to put his birthday ones away and is by the sounds of it emptying the shredder & shredding the pile of stuff - hopefully we can get the study list done before we go out - he has been working in there all day so i've not done it yet. just a few bits to file and a quick wipe round is all it needs. i've also asked him to clear his bits from his bedside table and the coffee table... it really stresses me out to have stuff around!

valli - i mealplan but i don't do the grocery challenge. i basically have a standard 4 week mealplan, which i'll put on if people or interested, or pm to you if not...then i write a list of everything we need to make those meals, and cross off what we already have, then do a fortnightly tesco online shop. v easy and i save loads of time and effort, not to mention cash!! sounds much more complicated than it is!
