Morning all, i'm in with bells on. My flat is currently a hovel after a week of hubby being off work:rolleyes: He is off today too but i am heartily sick off it so am going to bash on.

Kazwookie - Big hugs today, hope it goes as well as it can. Thinking of you.
Flybabybunting - your memory is almost correct, pigpen has 8 kids;)

Just finishing off breakfast then will look at the list.

    morning all

i'm not at work today (though i feel v bad as colleague who is meant to be covering my group tonight is off sick, but am determined not to go in as i really need the day off - the bosses will just have to find a way to sort it out), and its DH's 30th bday today and so I am cooking a nice meal tonight - just lasagne etc and a nigella choc mousse for pud. have a ton of other stuff to do and DH is at work poor thing, so I need to crack on:

Monday Melee - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Clear 1 window sill
    Level Two
    Sweep and mop floors
    Scrub out the sticky fridge!
    Level Three
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Clean out your mankiest kitchen cupboard..
    Extra Mission : help yourself
    1. Clean the hob
    2. Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    3. 32 fling boogie..
    4. Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET
    house insurance
    take car for a run

  • Goodmorning ladies (I'm so sterotypical and assume everyone on here are women) so goodmorning to any flymen out there!

Thankyou for all your support and positive comments this morning, I'm feeling a lot better this morning and will definately try to do to level 3 in the Kitchen as it really needs it, the dining room we don't tend to use much so will do a Level 1 in there.
Anyideas on how to get all the horrible brown burn marks off the inside of the oven door? Do I need to buy a special oven cleaner?

    Right plan for today
    Get self showered and dressed
    Get kids dressed and fed
    Breakfast
    Swish/Swipe and make beds
Floordrobe - has to be done on a daily basis, mostly needs to be picked up and taken to the laundry basket!
Then Tescos to get some cleaning products:
    Scrubbing brush
    Soda Crystals
    Cloths
    Washing up Bowl
Then home to tackle my list!

Right DS1 wants ice-cream for breakfast!

    C ya later XxX
Housework only gets noticed when it's not done.
My fake plants died because I did not pretend to water them.
Can never keep up with the thread - otherwise I'll never get anything done! But hugs to All :grouphug:

Morning all, i'm in with bells on.

Please don't talk about bells. I bought DD a belly dancing dressing up outfit yesterday at a booty for £1.50. She's worn it continually since and the jiggling is now driving me potty.

    Morning all

Nicki - have you seen the preparing for winter thread?

Vali - no last week's thread was not the longest - I think one hit 100 pages

Michelle - DS2 hated being in the car when a baby too - I can remember a holiday to Jersey when he was about 6 months old and he cried everytime we put him in the car - good luck

Kazwookie - I hope your flowers turned out just as you wanted, hugs to you and all those feeling the loss of your mum today

Denise I hope it has stopped raining

Soappie we had a candle lit at dinner last night as it was so dim in the kitchen at 6:30 the kids stared talking about christmas!

Crafty can you use Energy saving bulbs with your timer?

Embb missed you hun. I love BB too (but don't tell this lot) what do you think of Rex's GF?

Ragz - I hope your inlaws 'like you just the way you are' and not because you can clean.

To the shower and then the town with DS2and3 for shoe measuring and optitions.
