Realised this morning as I looked out the kitchen window the nights are getting longer again. There was the reflection of the rising sun on windows out the back that hasn't been there for a couple of months. Ah me, it'll soon be Christmas.....
I have a landing light on a timer and it was a nasty feeling to have to start moving the pin to bring it on earlier in the evening.

    Morning all :hello:

Kazwookie Thinking of you. Hope all goes smoothly.

I'm back in again. Keep thinking that with only me I don't make much mess, but the kitchen def. needs doing.

Good evenig folks, have had a manic weekend and a busy week ahead. I'm feeling really down as you all seem to be domestic godesses, making jam, gardening, ironing and matching pegs! I joined last week on Friday, and managed to get most bits done to L3, and I promised myself I would finish off the rest this weekend and sort out the dreaded conservatory which has turned into a dumping ground mostly for toys. I haven't done any flying this weekend at all. But chin up and time to get into gear tomorrow.
I have 2 young boys 3 and 2 months, but can't use them as an excuse - michelle - you are a real inspiration because mine are not as young as yours, how do you do it?
pigpen - if I recall correctly you have 6 children and still have your house in order, how do you keep them all occupied and budget so effectively?
Anyways here's my list, will try to do to level 3 as the kitchen definately needs it, also need to go to Tescos to get some cleaning stuff.

    Goodnight - sleeptight XxX

    Morning FBB

Awwww don't feel to down. We're not all super organised. You should have seen the list I posted on Saturday morning. It was the entire weeks worth of flying. And no I never did get to the end of it. But then all the rooms come around again this week so you just sort of start where you finished off really. After just 2 or 3 weeks of following this thread and doing what you can will make the world of difference though. It's amazing how much easier it becomes.

My youngest DD(5) started school last September and it's only since then that my house has resembled anything like tidy. Plus I've realised since being on this thread and reading about other Mum's with little ones why I never used to get much done when my older 3 were little.

Remember it's not a competition the lists are just suggestions to help everyone try and be a bit more organised. Plus we all have bad days and are here to support each other and encourage where needed.

Morning lovelies! Long time-no post :D

How is everyone? I promised myself I'd catch up with the new thread this week as I haven't visited here for ages (blame big brother - yes I'm one of those freaks that makes vitriolic posts on the channel 4 forum :o:D ) I hadn't forgotten you I just get so consumed by it

Not much changed this end really, still doing my Saturday entire house clean  Grand-baby is now 2 days overdue but we're all mega excited and itching to meet her. We're off on a camping trip to Northallerton this Friday for 4 days - first holiday we've had for 10 yrs really so I thought we'd start slow :D so I need a BIG list, funny how I can't ever manage or feel we've got everything if I don't have one.

Still working hard, but I'm loving it it's STILL the best thing I ever did.

    Erm.....matching clothes pegs? :confused::D and I thought I was bad :p

I'm off to make the beds and sort stuff before work, got to drop littley off at her Dads in 40 mins, there's time for a quick brew too - yay!

Morning all.... ahhhh ....yawn....stretch...... scratch.... yawn......ahhh.

Much much better today! Fast asleep on sofa from 7-10, straight to bed and woke at 7am. :D

I definitely will not be doing that all night thang again in a hurry!

So, I'm so in this week. DD1 and DD2 will be in too... whether they like it or not :p

Welcome to newbies.... I lurked here last summer doing lists in the background and got loads done. I love being back on here, and being FLYLADYTASIC
flybabybunting you're doing a great job. When my DD1 was a baby, I counted it as a huge achievement if I managed to get washed and dressed in a day. Whatever you get done, you get done, whatever you don't, you don't! I've made jam before when the children were younger, but I didn't get all the cleaning done as well IYSWIM?! My mantra particularly when they were babies was "whatever needs to be done will still be there, but my opportunity to sleep will be gone!"
    Have fun this week!

Right time for one more :coffee: before I drag those minxes off their bums to earn their keep!!! :rotfl:

    Morning eveyone,

Hope all is well in the land of flying. Welcome to all the new flybabies (beginner flyladies) - I see we have a few again this week, plus some of you have come back after last week, so it can't be all bad.

Flybabybunting don't worry - we're not all domestic goddesses - I don't iron at all - I dry things on hangers or in the TD. I also don't match pegs and have never made jam in my life. The only reason I've been able to do some baking etc at the moment is because I have no children (Ebony my cat is my baby at the moment - plus OH of course acts like a child sometimes too), and I'm on my 6 week summer holidays (teacher). When I was teaching, our flat was a pit!!! It's only just starting to resemble a home after 2 weeks of flying.

Best of luck for today everyone!
