    Morning all

Tia I can never understand why some people with no personal skills end up in medicine - you know you are doing your part, can you request to see a different therapist in future?

Valli - hugest hugs, I'm with you and Tia - I worked from 13 (paperround) then sweetshop and continued without a break (in lots of different jobs) until I had DS1, when people wondered why I hadn't gone straight back to work I felt like saying because I've had a job for 14 years I want a break! Lots of kids today get it too easy, is he old enough to switch jobs if he doesn't like the paper round? It could be a good lessson, you don't like your job then you find a different one you don't just stop working.

Soappie I hope you get everything done so you can have your days off

I'm not flying now until after holidays. Today I will

    empty DW
    put washing on the line
    ironing
    pack ebay parcels
    go to post office
    DS3 to tennis
    little top up food shop
    start packing kids clothes
    check car policy
get some boxes for packing toys away
    Remove peas from garden

    Best get started

Thats what happens when the manager buys a load of strikers during the transfer window and !!!!!! all else! Me thinks Walter Smith has lost his marbles. We were ok during the first half and then were terrible in the 2nd. If we dont buy a decent midfielder soon we can wave goodbye to the title too.

I only saw the second half, so I'll take your word for it...season might be interesting for once...could be a great battle for 2nd place ;)

Skintscotslass, the Gers are playing terrible just now. My hubbie and my son and his friend were one of the ones who bought tickets for the game last week, and had to stand in a queue to wait for their tickets, and got them AFTER the game had finished:mad:  . My wee boy was heartbroken that he never got to see them.

Oh, I missed that farce. That's ridiculous. Btw, I'm a Hearts supporter so plenty of scope for amusement throughout the season. My English team is Everton, so we're not big Walter Smith fans. BF reckoned that Rangers performance was like Everton when he was their manager

First time round he was great for the club, now he seems to have lost the plot entirely:eek:

    morning ladies

was up till nearly midnight ironing/packing. so nearly there, just need my last couple of bits to dry and get them in, and roll on this time tomorrow, when hopefully i can sit in the car, get my book out and enjoy the ride. DH is working late tonight, so lets see what i can manage myself.

I've fed and dressed us, done a wash which is now out on line, and the window cleaners have been. ds1 still has an upset tummy from the oj yesterday.

valli i agree you need to stick to your original arrangement with ds.

yorkshire chick welcome back. your list looked quite similar to mine. ;) good luck with it.

gandb depends how big a desk/price. Ours is from John Lewis. had a bigger one from IKEA that we had to stick in the loft when we needed a room for a nursery. We will want the bigger one back out eventually.

Thanks michelle, i looked at john lewis and really liked one as it was really old fashioned then i realised it was for ages 2-7:rotfl: Its very hard to tell online:o
Just ordered one from next, bit more than i wanted to spend but its a perfect size. Is called a clever cube, space is a huge issue so its only 60cm wide when closed, but the top slides across to give 112cm work space. And it has storage.

HHC fell apart. Kids started fighting downstairs and by the time I got down there they had thrown all the cushions on the floor and DD2 (nearly 1) had broken a drawer.
Did manage to clear off the top of a chest of drawers though. By moving the mess somewhere else.
Gave up and having brekkie and coffee now. Got a few more things to list on ebay as it's half price listing today!!!!!!!!
