It's Tesco, they are usually pretty good with returns, as long as you kept the tags on you should be ok. Just be polite and nice to them. Hope it works (BTW best supermarket for shorts is Asda, got some gorgeous ones the other day).

:hello:Morning all, no time to catch up on the thread I’m afraid but hope everyone’s well. I fell off the wagon a bit on Tuesday and didn’t get much done apart from the hoovering, but the living room and hall/stairs are in decent condition so not going to worry. I had meant to finish off a few things in the kitchen from Monday but they didn’t get done either. I was off at the cinema last night (X-files, wouldn’t really recommend it TBH) so nothing got done then either, but am leaving work early to pick up car after its MOT repairs so should be home a good hour earlier than normal (not my fault the garage is only open til 4! :D ) so hopefully I’ll be able to catch up a bit

      Morning all,
Hows everybody today - well I hope?
have just been catching up on the thread before it gets too big and I JUST LOVE YOU GUYS Thank you for all your thoughts, support and the 'lecture' (just what I needed Sarah!)

Thanks Kaz, Michelle, Valli, Hippy110, G&B and Sarahshatterd - you are all sooo right - you know me so well already!! - Thanks a million for your support and I am taking it all on board - ebay I will do it- its more bother as she is clueless regarding it and would be on the phone all the time so i will do it and get rid!! No she doesnt really support me - when I go into hospital for treatment she wont come to visit me as she doesnt like hospitals...she's too tired after work... she has too much to do on her day off.... etc etc
No you are not being hard - you are right but with regards to the course work - I offered to do it she didnt ask so I wont go back on my word - its the same as I said above - if i dont do it she will just become a worse pain by phoning all the time to get help

KAZ,You have done very well this week - I am impressed !!!

MICHELLE - - I hope you enjoy your wedding and your holiday (hope I have that right) after all your hard work - You are amazing you deserve some R & R - I get tired just reading your posts!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl: I wish I was coming with you -I havent been digging on the beach for years!!!!!!

Tia - it must be something about the way speech therapists are trained - I know someone who had the same experience as you - just keep doing what you are doing and if you get the same person when you go back be brave and tell them that you are doing all the right things - the lady I know found that when she stood up to the therapist she became more helpful.

Valli - Stick to your guns with your son -its the only way he will learn - we have all worked as kids and once you get used to it and have your own money to spend you realise its okay ...cancel his trip if he doesnt buckle down - he is taking advantage of your good nature!!!

Hippy110 I hope you feel better soon (((HUG)))

vivw I hope you are getting all the support for your diabetes - i was diagnosed last october and it took a wee while to get to grips with it but I am coping with it now and at least i know when i feel strange (some would say I am always strange!!!) I can check my sugar and do whatever is necessary!! (((HUG)))

G&B You sound like I used to be - moving furniture at 11pm!!! Hope the painting goes well and you have a new haven for studying in and sleeping and ......!!!!

Ok enough skiving on here I am off to get work done!!
catch you all later and thanks again for the wonderful support.

      TF xx:D :D
      Peace will be mine
could do better - must try harder

Have 'rug doctored' all my downstairs carpets. Only gonna do landing and one bedroom up here though.
Is it me or is it warm today??????

      Phew!
Edit: Ok, ended up doing all of them. Now have my trouser legs rolled up as the damp was creeping upwards.

All smell fresh and lovely and there's a noticable difference in the hall, porch and stairs carpets. The water was rank. Gonna have lunch now.

      Morning all

It's very humid here. I've done one load of washing, dried all except a pair of pyjamas and decided to get those in about 30 seconds before the rain came down! Sun is out again now, I think the path will be steaming in a minute.

Not done much indoors today except the usual tidying round, washing up etc. But I got the grass cut back and front before the rain.

    7. Tia before I start....apologies in advance to any decent speech therapists out there... I'm sure there must be one.... somewhere???

I've been there... the t-shirt is now a duster! ;) Speech Therapists make me SO      .

They are a breed unto themselves, I've seen at least 4, and they have all been more or less carp, rude, unpleasant and patronising. They don't appear to even think about the family they are dealing with. Or listen to the way in which you deal with your child.

I'm sure you've all noticed, I can talk...a lot!!! We all talk for Britain in this house. So to have some supid b*tch telling me to "talk more" to my daughter, and suggesting I talk about "the taps at bath time, this one's hot, this one's cold" in order to introduce more vocabulary for my DD3. "Talk about what's going on around you, during your day" astounding!!!!! Well, blow me down, I'd never have thought of that by myself, thank goodness I saw her!

She even felt it appropriate to give me the instructions for... wait for it.... Peepo       I wrote the sh*ttiest letter of complaint about her...useless cow.

They all were on at me to use Makaton for my girl. Just because she has Downs syndrome does not mean she can't or won't talk. I don't have any issue with anyone that wants to use Makaton, but we didn't want to. My daughter talks beautifully now, and I can assure you, it was NOTHING to do with the bl**dy stupid useless speech therapists we've had the mis-fortune to have encountered.

Sorry, that turned into a rant....  It's a slightly raw nerve!!! :rotfl: I really really hate speech therapists!!!!
