This is so not funny - I have just spent an hour doing the tesco delivery for the cottage. I was finding the last item and the system threw me out and now has an error. I really don't want to do it all again. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

1. I have stuff she wants me to sell on ebay:mad: - LET HER DO IT HERSELF
2. I have to finish a BLACK cardi I am knitting for her - never again will I knit in black!! - NEVER KNIT FOR HER AGAIN AND i WOULDNT EVEN BOTHER FINISHING IT FOR HER

4. I said I would help her do a course for her work - just the typing of the essays etc - she cant really do much word processing - and she has to finish it within 6 months - it hasnt arrived yet but should be here I think by the end of the month. Me and my big mouth again!!! YOU ARE AN ANGEL TO EVEN CONSIDER DOING THIS
After that it doesnt matter what happens and I have all you lovely ladies to 'talk' to now that dont judge me or take advantage of me!!:D
Sorry if this is OT but I wanted you to know since you were all so nice to me yest/today. I am going to get on with my life and I know I will have your kindness and support!!
Tell me to mind my own business but I think you should do the above and tell her you are concentrating on your own health and getting things of your own how you want them. No wonder she has a "perfect house" and unless I've got posts mixed up, has time to criticise yours.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Evening ladies
What a day. If i ever suggest going shopping with my sister and her 2yo and my 1yo and 3mo again, to meadowhall, please shoot me. DS1 behaved atrociously, understandable though as he was frustrated with being in the buggy while sis ummed and ahhed about various clothes. Not very entertaining for him at all. I really wasn't happy with him scratching DS2 down his face, or when he hit him twice hard on the head while i was BFing, or when he tried to rip a sunhat i was buying out of my hand while i was trying to give it to the shop assistant. Kids. MY stress levels are only just back to normal. Sis's answer to poor behaviour is to buy them things to eat in the buggy to pacify them, and she also bought him a drink of OJ for lunch, i normally give him just water, and it went through him within a couple of hours.
Anyway - deep calming breaths.
Good news today - Dad slipped me £100 for the boys for the hols - told me to put them on some rides, and not stick it in their bank and be a tight wad :rotfl: - think i will do a bit of both - how many rides/ice creams can two small boys need on a predominantly digging on the beach hols?
I have been out most of the day, and since getting in, DH had a weird swelling on his face under his eye, so i gave it some attention, cooked dinner, organised a DD for the TV license, emailed some friends on facebook, and not much else. Need to hang up the washing from this morning as some of it i want on hols, and i was supposed to be all packed by tonight. Best go do some of that in a minute or i might not be going - DH and DS's are all done so they can leave without me;)
tootifrooti it strikes me from your post, everything you are doing over the next 6 months is for your 'friend'. Does she do anything/support you in any way that you have not already mentioned? I would be cutting that dead wood from my life with not much of a backward glance. She sounds really selfish and as though she is taking advantage of you.
hope all you other mums are retaining sanity and not requiring too much magic medicine

OK, Bathroom done, PC desk tidied, toys taken upstairs and put away in their homes, WM + TD + HHI, dinner and S&S kitchen and dishes all done.
DH's Xbox is back, and he is off tomorrow, so he won't be doing much, but he did help out yesterday.
Speach therapist was so patronising I could have slapped her! Even DS2 didn't like her, and he usually likes everyone who shows hoim attention! Plus she was really 'snatchy'. Snatching toys away from him (yes partly as it's how she makes him talk, but mostly she is just that type of person). He is to get speach therapy once a month for now. She says he jargons, uses too many sounds for a word and single sylables. Which I knew. Then she starts telling me to always make him say words, which I allready do, and then how to make it seem like a game, which I know from physio. She just made me feel really small! And to begin with was all the questions about why I think he needs speach therapy!! Well, he is 3 and a half and can't say his own name, he can't say Dad, it's da, he has the speach of a one year old PLUS he was referred by the Educational Psycologist!
Argh! And then to top it off my Parasite Sence kicked in and I had to dig out the Ovex
So, question for all you Parasite experts, DS2 hates medicine. Gave him 1 5ml spoon of ovex, he spat most of it back out, so gave him another 2.5ml he spat some of it out. Going to re-treat in 2 weeks anyway, do you think he got enough??
Add in my list for tomorrow, boil wash all bedding, steam clean matresses, wash all clothes etc etc.0 -

Sorry for this tootti but ahe can open her own e bay account and sell her own stuff - I know this because I have done it!
2. I have to finish a BLACK cardi I am knitting for her - never again will I knit in black!! This I'll allow - assuming you've started it - is it a gift is she paying you for your valuable time - or is she just using you?
3. her husband is coming back at Christmas so I know she wont have time for me - she has said that herself! Well now you know where you stand with this 'friend'
4. Me and my big mouth again!!! and who gets the qualification - she does - who gets the praise - need I go on? Computers word process even for people who aren't good typists. I'm sorry Tootie- but this lady is an A1 user - and it's YOU she's using!
I am not normally this hard - I have needy friends too - but these are friends to whom I would and could go if I were in need. This 'lady' sounds like a real user! I want him to work (like I had to) and still bl***y do
Any advice? Personally I feel that if I just hand him money he'll spend it...I want him to appreciate that money has to be worked for and sometimes the work isn't nice:mad:
Well tough !!!! kid That's life - and believe me Ive gone down this route incl. threatening to stop pocket money anyway as leccy etc bills are so huge I have to pay them somehow

I'd stand by what you have said (and mean it) that he wont get the pocket money and if he cant afford it he cant go on the school trip. I nagged my DS (just turned 16) to get a paper round or a job but he never wanted one and certainly didnt want one in the hols as he had to pay £200 towards his £600 school trip in October. As the deadline to pay came closer I think he realised that I wasnt coming up with his share and now he's going out 3 or 4 days a week with my dad and I think he has the smell of the money :rotfl: . Since he broke up after his exams he's amassed over £500 to play with.
Once he realises if he doesnt confirm then he cant have something he'll come round hopefully.
Anyway I'm off to bed now, played too long. See you all after work tomorrow
