Froggington - I must have missed the fact you had a broken arm...

Yep - spectacularly broken on 1st May. Broke both bones in my forearm (and not nice clean fractures either!!!) and now have 2 metal plates in after a 3 hour op to realign bones and remove splintered bits. Much better than it was, and I can do most things, but the healing is a very slow process.

Wow Tootti you've done really well today. :T

I've worked the last 2 mornings and will again tomorrow. But I just never seem to be able to get into the swing of it once I've been out. If I'm home all day it's normally fine I just seem to be able to crack on and get things done.

Thanks TAG but not much off todays list ! I am just the same - get on really well if I stay at home but just cant seem to handle being out and coming back to get started - I usually try to do somethings and go out as late as possible. Doesnt always work :rotfl:

Tooti - friends come in some very unusual shapes sometimes!!

Hours spent with accountant - SIX!! Does that qualify for a moneysaving doggie biscuit???? I would say yes!!!

AND the other good news - a full months wages from NHS (so what was all that carp about last week!!) Of course, it will go straight to overdraft that I had to take out to pay bills but still I feel like I have some money!!

Thats brilliant news RMC - that must have made you feel better - but what a bunch of morons to treat you the way they did last week - hope you get over this soon.:T

apart from paddling pool I've done zero flying off the list.

But ooh Dustykitten you and some of the other flyangels have kids to cope with as well - I am just me - I know I couldnt do what you all do - it would drive me nuts to have children under my feet - buts thats an age thing!!! And I have never had the chance to have kids so I dont know how I would have been - I just get stuck with other people's - like tomorrow I have so-called 'friend's' GD and pal to go to the flicks with and then for something to eat and put on the bus again!!! At least they are paying this time but I could be better occupied!!!

I am so tired I'm almost asleep at the keyboard. I have had to give more advice since I last posted.

I have managed to eat something. And I have managed to put some washing away (particularly knickers which is just as well as I had none left!).

Can somebody please remove this invisible-to-me sticker from my forehead that appears to be saying "hey, got a problem - speak to Soappie!"

I don't mind doing it, but it does take it out of me when it's all day and all night long over several days.

Ok flyladies I am off to have an early night for a change - I managed to get 20 lots ready on turbolister for tomorrow so thats a start but will have to do better.
Have spent today thinking about what happened with my 'friend and
have come to decision - hard as it will be as I dont have many friends I am going to ease back on contact with her - I do have to cope with her for 6 months because
    1. I have stuff she wants me to sell on ebay:mad:
    2. I have to finish a BLACK cardi I am knitting for her - never again will I knit in black!!
    3. her husband is coming back at Christmas so I know she wont have time for me - she has said that herself!
    4. I said I would help her do a course for her work - just the typing of the essays etc - she cant really do much word processing - and she has to finish it within 6 months - it hasnt arrived yet but should be here I think by the end of the month. Me and my big mouth again!!!

After that it doesnt matter what happens and I have all you lovely ladies to 'talk' to now that dont judge me or take advantage of me!!:D :D

Sorry if this is OT but I wanted you to know since you were all so nice to me yest/today. I am going to get on with my life and I know I will have your kindness and support!!

    Hi to all the newbies!:D

You are doing ok Froddy - its a real problem with only one good arm - just baby steps remember!!:T

    Big ((((hugs)))) to you all!
