Dusty - I sympathise. My two are definitely ready for killing each other. Luckily their sports week has come at the perfect time. It's on until Friday and then we have three days next week before we go away so hopefully we'll all be in one piece by then. Just realised i'll have to take them both for my hospital appointment on Monday as my mum and dad are away. That'll be fun - not!
I've managed to unload the washing mashine and hang stuff to dry, put another washing load in and clean out the cat tray. Ooooh so much done! :rotfl: :rotfl:0 -

Phew!
What a busy day you've all had - hi Vivw
:grouphug::grouphug: to those in need esp Tootti and Nicki you've both been on my mind today.
As I mentioned yesterday I wasn't flying as such today but I have painted, with the help of my flybabygirl - DS's room. It's now Egyptian Hessian (a sort of grey beige, in the Dulux book - instead of scuffed lemon. Fortunately the skirtings were clean enough and this time I haven't done the ceiling because that was done last time and still looks ok and I hate ceilings and I don't get on with that paint that goes on pink, dries white stuff cos it looks white to me! So now I'm waiting for it to dry to check that it's perfect;) .
I've had a bath, dropped her off at dancing class, (she's bathed too) and I will pick her up shortly and then we're off to Mamma Mia (Orange Wednesday!)
Since it is housework though, I do think it counts - particularly as all skirtings, even those behind wardrobes, and all carpet was vacuumed first so that the paint could go on to clean walls. And I helped my dad get the radiator off so I could paint, properly, behind it!
So please may I have my dog biscuit Pigpen?Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Hi
I'm back from the Dr Who exhibition. Ds2 got a bit scared but still went round twice. Ds1 secretly liked it i think;) .
It was good but not as big as i imagined it to be. Nor as interactive, you couldn't touch the stuff. Also there were no heads on any of the humans which i found a bit strange.
You could go around as many times as you liked though and the wrist bands are valid all day. I would probably go again but would know what to expect.
I suppose i'd better feed everyone now:rolleyes: i can't be faffed. I need a nap but theres no chance of that.;)0 -
Evening lovely ladies
Another full day at work doing errr not very much but being paid errr quite well really.
DD is out walking the dog, OH is getting ready for work at 6pm for 12hr night shift and DS is out at a friends party. Just me and little one for tea so its freezer iffits again methinks (ie no preperation, not much mess) and need to use some of it up.
Then I will do some flying as I've done hardly anything this week other than murdering [STRIKE]DD[/STRIKE] blackcurrants.
Will prepare a list and see how much I can do once we've eaten.
See ya in a bit

Wow Tootti you've done really well today. :T
I haven't. I really can't get into the swing of it. I'm surrounded by yapping/ whinging/ whining/lazy kids and I just want some peace and quiet. never seem to get a moment to myself these days.
I've worked the last 2 mornings and will again tomorrow. But I just never seem to be able to get into the swing of it once I've been out. If I'm home all day it's normally fine I just seem to be able to crack on and get things done.
I'll be doing DS room next week as well Valli. We're in dispute over the colour though. He wants blue - yuk.0 -
