Kaat-Lady,-as long as the chicken breasts are frozen uncooked ,thawed and then you cook them,it is then ok to freeze the curry, casserole, whatever, as far as I know.HTH.

    Hello all,

Have had a fairly productive day - fried up some onion and garlic, bulked out wih carrot and lentils, and that has now been made into cottage pie and chilli. Made a SC curry for tea, but now I really don't fancy it. Got my haircut, it looks ridiculous- - I told her to give me a graduated bob, longer at the front, shorter at the back. She must have got confused and did it the wrong way round  However, the salon - WOW - all I can say is you KNOW you have arrived! So, I think I'll go again just to spend time in there, even if I do get a rubbish haircut

I also have bread baking atm - left to prove a *bit* too long - it got so big, it spread over half my kitchen worktop and swallowed 2 teaspoons!!! Hope its tasty, I need it to make sandwiches next week. Oh, and I washed a load of bedding and towels too.

Hope you all had a good day and a smashing evening

Well I've had a catnap this afternoon (3 1/2 hours) so I feel a lot better, although I shall be glad to go to bed later! Have dinner to get on with, else we'll be eating too late. I had to go out earlier because I was bored, and I might sneak up to the pound shop tomorrow as parking is free on Sundays.

((Hugs)) to those who need them, hope everyone has a pleasant evening :)

I forgot to say great rhyme, Haribo!

    And MrBE :T

I made bread, its lovely and crusty...but tastes really strongly of yeast. Why is this? I used Lidl bread flour, tesco dried yeast sachets and Delias method.

Hi Kaat - RosyRed is right about the chicken. With any meat you can freeze it once, defrost it, cook it and then freeze it just the once again. If you remember that, you'll be fine!

Well, I've had two gin and tonics and am feeling very relaxed. Have made lots of phone calls arranging accommodation and lifts for wedding guests and feel all in control now - apart from hunting down 19 meters of hot pink ribbon and 16 meters of gold ribbon some time tomorrow! Can't believe I still need so much but I'm sure I'll find it. If not, I'll crochet some instead!

Hope everyone is having a great evening.
