Candygirl - I agree with Snowy; what a truly dreadful way to treat your father. I would definitely put in a complaint.

Taplady - I hope Taplord's pigeons have made it back by now.

Well, I'm just sat here waiting for DH who should have been home by now. I could have got on with something if I'd known he was going to be later than he said. Typical! Well, I can always have another cuppa!

    See you.

    hello again

I am just back from listing the freezer items,, there are 47 different kinds of items and there are 8 of one item ,which is beef sausage, ,, will have to start eating them ,,,also 8 lumps of cheese I did not know I had,, the item stuck to the bottom was battered fishcakes so we are having them for lunch,, DH was saying we have enough to last a fortnight but I think its more like a month,, but there is a lump of chicken breasts which will have to be made into curries or something,,as they will all have to be defrosted at once,,
will it be ok to re-freeze them afterwards

ooooooh Nelski - cheers for lending us the boys again - I don't feel quite so Home Alone now

well dd is off - I am tracking her flight at the mo. It wasn't so bad but there was a problem with soe of the passengers at check in - something to do with a visa so they were late picking up the UM's - dd and another little boy. They picked her up 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time so the man was telling us to hurry up as the families were kissing their LO's good bye. One of my famous Mother Tiger Looks and he backed off though. I had to wait in the airport until the flight was airborne which was 45 minutes later than scheduled. I've had a cry (on the bus - how embarassing) and am ok now and am looking forward to some free time. Nothing planned but might have a "Boring Mum Film" Fest later on

Candy, huggles to your dear dad, and to you too, you really are going through the mill at the moment, I am glad for you all that you have the baby on the way, which must be a light at the end of the tunnel xx

Hugs Stefe, go and enjoy yourself with Nelski's boys. :D

I've been playing holidaymaker this afternoon, I met up with friends who are visiting family here and we wandered along the promenade in the sunshine, I've caught the sun, so I would think that there will be some sore bodies tonight, judging by how many folk were stripped off on the beach.
Managed to collect some YS stuff in M&S and some that was half price, so that's tea sorted, steak from out of the freezer with Pamentier potatoes and veg.
My friends are off to a show tonight, so I might meet up with them later for a little refreshment or two

    Evening all

NELSKI you naughty girl:naughty: , getting me all distracted :D .

REDRUBY meant to say congrats on your OH passing his test, he can drive you home from the pub in future.

CANDYGIRL your poor Dad could have developed a pressure sore, I would complain, hugs to both of you.

Been a bit miserable here, started to drizzle so I have washing everywhere. DS has had a pyjamma day today. Have cleaned the bathroom and spent 1 1/2 hours down the allotment and put in some more caulis, dug and weeded. Have just picked my first beetroot, cooked it up and had it with a cheese sandwich, it was lovely.

Made a curry with chickpeas, HG spinach and HG new pots for tea, lovely.m on my first glass of wine and intend DS and I shall have an early night as I'm working tomorrow.

Have a good evening all, anyone else missing Dr. Who?

Well, I'm all dressed up 60s style and ready to go, just waiting for the Other Half to get ready now and for the tumble drier to finish so we can go. :) Am wearing a mini skirt and make up as suggested, but haven't got any knee high boots so am making do with something similar but shoe-based!

    Have a lovely evening, everyone!
