  • Happy Birthday Master Aussie too!
Alexelisey, glad you misunderstanding is sorted, have a little cat-nap later.
Busygirl, wow sounds like you’re having a fabulous time J Don’t think about the money at the moment, enough time to worry when you get home….
Mioliere, will he clean my car too? And I don’t blame you for being so excited!!!
Moanymoany, someone else jumping up & down with excitement – there’s a lot of it around today already!!
JannyAnnie, congratulations for DS & his DF (and to you!!). What lovely news J I got the Paul McKenna book/cd ages ago, but fell asleep every night I put the cd on…!!!! (great insomnia cure….). I don’t seem to have got myself into it properly I think as it never seemed to work for me. Might dig it out & have another go. My problem is I just eat anything & everything…. Any tips???
PippaS, it sounds like your friend is having a tough time, I’m sure she appreciates you being there.
Stef, I know it’s very mixed feelings with DD going off, but I’m sure she’ll have a fantastic time & you will have some time to spend on you J
Frugalswan, that sounds like fun tonight – I’d love to go along to something like that.

Anyhow, today I need to put some stuff on freecycle and start getting DD’s packing as they’re off tomorrow to my sister’s J Freedom till Thursday!!!! Woo-hoo!!!!!!
Sis wants more banana bread too & I might go & make some blackberry (or is it raspberries I’ve got in the freezer?) muffins shortly as they’re so easy & I can have one for brekkie then J Also need to tidy the hall/cloakroom as there’s a large collection of shoes/coats building… Am determined to get rid of all (most of) this clutter everywhere!!!!!

Have a good day all ((((((((hugs)))))))) for all those needing them.

Happy Birthday to Pink  , and Aussie lad

MoanyMoany - Have a good time with your son xx

Looks a bit overcast here, but I have a wash on and another to go in, so might risk it and hang it out.

We are going out driving today, :T going to rip up the L plates, and get some of the green P ones. I would like to go to a garden centre so OH can take me for a change :D .

Salmon with pasta and hollandaise for tea, very quick post this morning, as I can hear OH dishing up breakfast, Bacon, eggs beans and toast Yum.

Stefjb, hope all goes well today, safe trip for your dd, and I hope she has a great time xx

    good morning everyone.
    happy birthday pink winged.

today must get some motivation and attack this house. worked every day this week and the house has just gone to ruin. this is my excuse for staying on part time hours. :) If only I could train them to open the dishwasher door instead of piling the dishes above it  , that washing goes in the basket not on the bedroom floor....but after 18 years now I have given up.
after housework must find paperwork for my car loan. I have to make a final lump sum payment soon to clear the loan and I don't want to miss it or I will be locked in for another 3 years with interest
I desperately need to do a proper store cupboard/freezer shop as I haven't done one since end of May/begining of June, but this is pay day weekend and shopping at Asda is hopeless in the crowds.
tonight will be chinese or curry take out!

the vet phoned yesterday with the results from the dog's lump it's not cancer but could be one of two things an injury or his immune system so if the lump comes back he has to have steriods if not it's an injury and he's ok no more treatment
today I have to go to the shops for fresh stuff for the weekend then the ever present housework
if I get the chance I want to do a lot of baking for the freezer so it will be another thing not to worry about

    Hi again

STEFEJB safe journey to your DD, I'm sure she'll be fine.

SQUIGGLY Have only listened to the cd twice, it doesn't send me to sleep but it's done something to my brain. Very strange feeling that someone has been in my head and twiddled around with things.

Have been for my run, first load of washing is out, another one in the machine. Off to the allotment in a mo but need another cuppa first.

    Catch you later.

:bdaycake: birthday cakes all round for Pink and AussieLad and little Bradley. Have a great day all of you.

    mrs_mix - good news for your doggie - that's a relief.

MoanyMoany - I'm back up in Edinburgh for part of the festival -I'll try and see your son- how exciting for you!!!! sport-smiley-001.gifsport-smiley-001.gif. What talent he has to win such a wonderful prize. \\\you must be very proud! What's his name/ name of show? My DD sent me down a festival guide yesterday so it is waiting for a nice moment or few, to be accompanied by a cup of tea. My DS is in a play - it's student theatre (he's at uni in Glasgow) at Bedlam Theatre and he plays Van Gogh (with 2 perfect earsrolleyes.gif). Sorry I've turned this bit round to meeeeeeeeee....
I can certainly feel your excitement. Don't even worry about your DS seeing any difference in you - if/ when people change it is due to life experiences. I know that I put on some weight after being off with stress (when I got 'better') and instead of being scrawny I am a bit roundy but I have earned this and the extra wrinkles!!! All down to life's little unexpected bumps! Have a great time. Will be thinking of you this afternoon.
(((hugs))) to those under the weather.

    Good morning everyone

Ok, I just hope I can remember everything that's been said.....

    Pen-Pen have a great holiday.
Pink-Winged, Aussielad and Master Fizzel have a very happy birthday!
jannyannie congrats to your DSS and GF. :T
stefjb try not to panic too much. If your DD has her passport and boarding pass and some money then it doesn't matter too much if she has forgotten something. ((hugs)) though.
frugalswan sounds like a great night out!
moanymoany bit of a misnomer today, huh? Well done to your DS. No wonder you are so excited. :j
Pippa S your friend is lucky to have you. She seems to be having a tough time of it.
anniestar what a nice thing for your OH to do! Glad you enjoyed it - you certainly deserved it.
redruby well done to your OH! :T Make the best of it in every way you can. ;)
Squiggly a card would be a lovely gesture. Personally, I don't see what's wrong with going to the funeral and sitting at the back. That way you are paying your respects without getting in the way IYSWIM. Your friend would appreciate that, I think.

I know I haven't mentioned everyone, sorry for that. :o

Been up and done some time on the exercise bike. I bit the bullet yesterday and signed DS, DD and I for the local gym (council-run so *much* cheaper). I have my induction at 4.00pm today  and DS and DD have theirs on Monday. Had to go out and buy some trainers yesterday as I don't own a pair. Not going to invest in all the kit yet though - I need to make sure I'm going to stick with it before I spend.

Washing is all done but I do need to hoover the staircase today and then look out the paint for the kitchen from the shed. Kitchen is looking untidy but I can't find any space to put things away so I fear that a BIG clearout is needed.

Off to have some fruit then a cup of tea. Have a sunny Saturday. xx
