    Morning All

Happy Birthday Pink and all celebrating

At work at the moment. Very quiet as usual on the weekend. Only two of us in the building but I'm in the office alone.

Got to decide what I'm going to wear to the wedding reception tonight. Got an afternoon of r&r planned.

    Hope everyone's ok

    Morning all:D

Oh well, best laid plans and all that:rolleyes: It's rained overnight so grass mowing is off the agenda. It looks like it could rain again now, so window cleaning is most definitely off the agenda;) So I'm thinking hot choccy drink and a book?:D Or maybe ironing icon9.gif

Haribo, that's one clever poem, but be warned we're keeping track of the insult parts for when you get there:p 45 is still a baby:cool: Hope the day is going well, Pink:D

    AussieLad :bdaycake: Bradley

Moany, enjoy your son, no wonder you're excited:T

sefejb hope DD12 got off OK. She'll be fine, you put your feet up and open a bottle:D I'm a bit of a checker that you've checked myself. In fact once I checked so many times we'd got the passports, they almost got left on the kitchen table:eek: ( I got distracted on my last check:o )

Brain turned to mush, but hope everyone has something to enjoy today.

Nelski - thanks! You know this will have to be a regular feature now, don't you?!

Haribo - your 'kind' words are great! Really made me laugh!

Stef - she'll be fine. I know how you feel, though, and it's a horrid feeling.

Squiggly - I'll send him round with his chamois but it's raining so I can't promise he'll be dressed like Nelski's boys!

Pippa - I'm a sixties girl, too! To be honest, I wouldn't have wanted my teenage years to be in any other decade - I think it was a fantastic time!

Kaat - when I do my freezer inventory when it's really full, I put everything in a big laundry basket (the sort you use to take the washing out to the line) using rubber gloves (cos I hate the cold); it's only in the basket for about 10/15 minutes so it won't start to defrost. It's easy to sort through and put back in the freezer in the right order - it stays like that until my next rummage in it and then it all goes to pot again!

well, off to do some favours - this is such a labour of love!

    See you later.

    Hi all

Just lost a post trying to say hi - very dodgy internet connection here.

All improving - have had three days of very frank talking and OH and I understand each other better now. Hoping it stays that way!

I didn't come home and I'm glad I stayed. Back Thursday anyway.

Hugs all round and happy birthday pink!

Hi - it's still raining a bit now and we've decided we're going out after lunch because we still haven't replaced the 'wedding' shirt DH has lost (well, it wasn't me!) so we must buy one today plus, despite buying what must have been about 10 million meters of ribbon for the favours, I still haven't got enough so it's back to Hobbycraft this afternoon - at least I know how much I need this time.

DIL to-be is becoming a 'bit' stressed now and is worrying about everything and anything and DS2 is so calm he's almost asleep! I think they'll spend the first week of their honeymoon just zonked out - or at least, she will!

Anyway, must go and get the lunch on - DH has promised me he'll be finishing work within the hour so that we can go out.

    See you all later.

    Hi everybody

And Pink....your sister is a genius!! What a fab poem from a little sweetie. So did she get the brains while you got the looks?

Taplady, I hope that the pigeons have started to arrive by now.

candygirl - start making very strong complaints, that simply is not good enough!! They will just do that to some other poor soul if they aren't pulled up for it. It makes me so cross that someone is treated with such disregard and so little empathy. Your dad deserves so much better.

I leapt out of bed this morning at about 8.00am, had my brekkie then leapt back into bed:o. I must have slept like a baby as the postman has been and had tried to deliver a parcel. Usually he practically batters the door down when he's got a parcel and my car is there, but I was definitely too far away in the land of nod to have heard him. I wonder what's in the parcel....oooo can't wait to find out!

Nelski....mmmm they are better than chocolate in a Radley bag....:drool::drool:

Right, gotta go and immerse myself in doing something useful.

    Bye all

    Snowy
