Hi, this is the Daily Thread for Pink's Birthday. This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

I know that this is against the rules, posting the Daily before I go to bed, but I hope I'll be forgiven just this once and by the time anyone finds out, I'll be far away on my holidays

Yesterday ( let's keep the pretence going;) ) I had a wonderful girly day with my sis-in-law, her daughters and granddaughters. Lots of laughter and pink clothes:rotfl: :rotfl: So not much in the way of OS.

Today, Saturday, I shall need to knuckle down I'll be mowing the grass, and I really must clean some windows. I made a good start a few days ago, but then it sort of petered out:o

I have got some pumpkin soup defrosting, ready for Saturday lunch with some crusty HM bread. See I really am OS:A And a lovely piece of fresh hake that will become dinner:D

Off to catch up with Friday's thread now. Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday.

Morning all,

Wow I can finally post normal. Lovely sunny day here. We had a lovely lay in and just finished breakfast. Plans are to do some sewing and mow the grass. I've been having what it seems DGS most of this week so I haven't had a great deal of puter time. DH & I went and had tea out last night which was nice just to kick back and relax. Off to take OS his present some time this morning.

As it's Pink Day I'm keeping the pink font. Sorry if it's a pain in the botty to read:D

Wo*k went alright [STRIKE]today[/STRIKE] yesterday, I actually managed to produce a few useful things, and it looks like I might be able to produce some useful documents next week. They even paid me yesterday (not that you can really notice, my account took a battering when I was between jobs).

The house is a tip. I'm thinking of doing some industrial strength housewo*k this weekend. I have quantities of Stardrops, bicarb, vinegar and fibrewotsit cloths at my disposal. Wish me luck everyone.



I've got to mow the lawn too. What a drag! It was non-stop rain Friday but the lawn needs to get a trim so I'll be out there come rain or shine otherwise I'll have an Irish rainforest to hack down soon.

Happy birthday to the ickle AussieLass boy. Sorry this greeting is in poofy pink, but I'm sure he won't mind.

Confession time! I'm addicted to Big Brother...it's just so good this year! I didn't have a telly for three years, and cited rubbish like BB as one of the reasons why a tv was so unnecessary. I am so fickle and spineless.

Apologies, I haven't read yesterday's thread yet. Well today's thread - but as it's tomorrow in the PenguinLand I'll not confuse the poor bird and call it yesterday's thread - so big hugs to those who need them, and slaps on the back to those who deserve them.

Pink-w - how are your fleas doing? Have you started a circus with them yet?
