Hello All!

Lucielle, Im still here!:rolleyes: I had a hospital appointment yesterday and they were unable to do a sweep so I am booked to be induced next Wednesday 10th (though am secretly hoping I go myself before then, but at least I have a date!)

Well, as I said I'm still here-was a bit disheartened the last few days especially as I am receiving endless texts and calls to ask whether she is here!:rolleyes:

Flat is spotless, OH has put up Christmas tree, and bought some pink baubles for lo for when she does eventually arrive!they are beautiful:D

I've finished more presents-wrapped my mums hamper last night-got loads of Elizabeth Arden bits in a gorgeous gold hat box-with a framed pic of us, spent about £40.00 but she's worth it and know she will love it! I bought some make up from No 7 so that I could receive the free bag worth 35 with make up and bits and will give that to one of my sisters, bought some bits in TJ Hughes who have loads of great offers on perfumes and make up at the minute. I have only got a few pressies left to get so I'm happy:j

I paid my credit card last friday and have to call them this week to cancel so thats one debt cleared!:beer: I've popped a post up in old syle board to try attempt get our grocery budget down and get some recipe ideas, as we are wasting money on this each month, so hopefully that will be another thing under control!

Emmerdale is on in the background so I've lost my train of thought! Will sign back in soon and update!:rotfl:

Hello - well done on your progress. Put some mouthwash in your baby bag....coz if you nil by mouth and being sick you can swill and rinse!!! Sorry for putting that image in your head, but you'll be glad!! Good luck!

Hello All,

Hope everyone is well...

Just a quick update-had our 2nd sweep attempt today but could'nt be done-so as long as my hospital has a bed for me, then I'll be induced tomorrow.

Slightly terrified but its only fear of the unknown more than anything, just hope lo will be ok, the usual anxieties!

Anyway, have spent today doing last minute bits, getting shopping in,cleaning,doing washing, sorting baby monitors,sterilizer, hospital bag...my nerves are gone!!:rolleyes:

OH is off now-so will have a bit of help for a week then he's back for a day or so before we get ferry to Ireland for Christmas.

So glad that have been organized about Christmas this year, only have a few teeny bits to sort (like packing my friends hamper, and wrapping presents), so not stressed over it. Go me!:j

Paid off cred card-then the sods took my monthly minimum amount so they now owe me 12.72, and cant close account until they sort it-which I have been advised will be a few weeks! Flaming abbey!:eek:

On another note-my friend (who is also the office manager where I work) popped around yesterday to see me, and while we were chatting she more or less told me there probably wouldnt be a position for me to return to. They have been letting alot of people go and its possible that the company may cease altogether I know there are alot of people facing or going through this, but it feels so bleak. It was a really good job. Also OH may stay on where he is, but his t()sser boss wants to decrease his salary from 20+bonuses to 18k. There isnt a hope in hell that we can survive on that, esp as OH will literaly need to pay all our bills once my maternity pay stops.

I feel a bit disheartened with it all, as really wanted to decrease debts, but dont know how we will even manage soon. Trying to put it to back of my mind at moment-coz I have bigger things going on with this imminent arrival and really want to enjoy our first bit of time as a family. Will get Christmas over and done with and then try sort ourselves.

Anyway, best get to bed as I will no doubt need to be fresh and energized for tomorrow...I will hopefully be on soon and update on how quickly my 10minute labour went (wishful thinking!:p )..

Hello All,

Just a quick update as not much to write except that im now mummy sammie

Isobel was born on Saturday 13th december at 11.51-had very tough time, and afterwards allergic reaction and blood transfusions so only got out of hospital on wednesday. We are both doing good now-just resting so any Moneysaving has gone on the back burner until after Christmas.

Want to wish everyone a happy christmas and new year-and I will be back in 2009...take care all xx
