Well I'm feeling much better today, beautful weather here today, hope everyone else got their fair share of sunshine!
Went to the NCT sale this morning with lo so no weekend lie in for us(actually, our days of having a lie in are long gone but we usually take dd into our bed for a snuggle and a sleepy chat, all 3of us enjoy it
Bad news is hardly any of my items sold,I had alot of clothes we were given for dd but we either didn't like or won't fit when summer comes so decided to sell but no1 liked??also my maternity clothes didn't sell,oh reckons it's coz I'm so teeny, didn't wear mat clothes til 8months pregnant,so the clothes are immaculate!?oh well,am going to try sell them on eBay,fingers crossed!
I also spent 14at the sale-oops!not very dfw,but they are fab and got loads of gorgeous clothes for few pence!yay!
Went to tesco after as dd had finished the last of her formula,we use aptamil, and there are never any vouchers for money off?anyway spent 40,(formula was nearly 20 for 2),and got few bits, but when got home and was putting on lunch the oven wouldn't work?!it was fine when I lasted used it,but decided to give up the ghost!so that's our wm and oven that don't wrk!
Thankfully,it's the landlords oven so he will replace, said we'd have a new one on Monday:)
OH is over at his mums shop for 2hrs,I've just fed, bathed and changed dd so I will quickly update this and then back downstairs as we are doing a car boot tomorrow, and have so much to sort!
OHs mum will take care of dd 2m morning.hope the weather stays nice!
We really should be at mass tomorrow morning at 9.30,will try get to it at 2.00 if I can convince oh.I've had to go the last 2times on my own,and I'm afraid that if we don't go,the priest will refuse to christen dd on the 3rd!
Anyway, really need to go otherwise I won't get to bed tonight!
Take care!

Well, car boot sale done!£66.00 so not too bad,£7.00 for the stall, and some chips for breakfast :rotfl:
I even gave loads of baby bits away to a girl who was 7months pregnant with a little girl on the way,we were going to give them to charity during the week but the people who collect them never turned up, so she got them. There were some gorgeous bits in it, she looked shocked, lets hope we get rewarded with karma, but even saying that, I feel great for just giving them to her:D
Got home, collected dd who I missed loads, lol, and OH cut the grass with the lawnmower he bought for £6, so our garden looks great now:j
OH then went out on his motorbike with friends and before he left he asked if he could take £10.00 from the pot 'in case he needs it', so of course I said yes. Just checked it and there is £50.00 in itSo i'll have to ask him when he gets back where it is, as its money towards lo's christening (£220 approx, not budgeting for feeding family and collecting them in a van we have got a loan of, which we need to pay for petrol), so really cant afford for any extra spends this month.
He got paid from his mum £148, so that will go straight into the pot. I really need to watch our spending now-need to account for every penny we spend, as none of it can go astray this month.
When got home, checked e-mails, and had an invoice for 80.00!!? We sold alot of bits this month, to the tune of about 500, we were really short so oh sold a bike and bike parts he had, felt awful for him, but had to be done-and goodness, dont ebay take their fair share of it, for doing zilch!!Didnt account for that money, so will need to find that from somewhere now too.
On a better note, put on a wash before came up to bed, and it felt like the wm was actually a little warm (usually washes clothes in freezing cold water), so I'm hoping the fairies fixed it for me last night because they felt sorry for me with my oven dying too!
Loads to do tomorrw, have bits for ebay in the spare room that need to be listed and sold before the christening as will have people staying so there wont be room, and also need the funds!
OH also got rid of the 2nd contract he had (one with orange, one with o2, the 2nd one was because he wanted the iphone, and could only get it with o2, so opened another contract:eek:even though he already had one with o2?!!?? anyway, his younger brother has now taken that off our hands, so that £40 less we need to find, thankfully:T
I have dentists on Tuesday, it will be my first appointment in years, have the maternity exemption card so thought better to get it done before it expires. Not sure if I have to pay for treatment with it? Will have to check as if I do, then will need to cancel as dont have the money for it this month:rolleyes:
Going to try get other bits sorted this week with work and cab re advise on returning to work. Will look at jobs for OH too.
Hopefully it will be a good week for us!
Going to bed now, night

Hi Sammieb, just to let you know Natwest does free business banking for 2 years if you've been in business less then 12 months! ebay fees are a pain... can never quite tell how much they're going to be!0

Hi All,
Didnt post yesterday, but was quite a productive day!
Sent parcel to my sister (£24!!) mostly consisted of teeny baby clothes, and some other bits, worth it as I'm sure she will appreciate them.
Landlord delivered and installed our new oven:j
I hung some pictures in lo's room and two in the bathroom(in a 3d type box with seashells that I picked up at car boot sale weeks ago and kept nagging OH 2do-but he showed me how to do them (the new improved me, I want to learn how to do it all myself!)
Hung curtains in lo's room which I bought a few weeks ago, were meant to be 15.00, but I got for £7,they look fab!
Got dd's clothes washed and the wm def heated up a little so they were clean!:T
Posted an ebay item which sold,so now have £40 towards the £80 invoice. I need to transfer that to my account today.
Tried to make a minimal payment to oh's cred card but doesnt seem to have left my account so will try again later.
He has two credit cards, one for £367.43 with abbey, the other is vanquis at 202.32. I recently paid 70.00 off his vanquis as both are very high rates and he was only making minimum payment.
Want to try pay as much off these as poss as our wages are going to seriously decrease from next month.
Not sure if I should call into my bank and advise them that I will be made redundant next month and will def have difficulty making payments (though I have ppi on both), my repayments are 227 and 85 per month and OH's has to pay 280, which he didnt take ppi on:rolleyes: I know paying our rent is priority but I dont want to defualt on these and get a bad credit rating as we really would like to own our home sometime in this lifetime
Have been to the dentist today, and need three fillings which I'll have done next month-all free as I have maternity exemption until lo turns one, so as much as I hate the dentist, I thought I'd better get it all sorted now while its free.
OH has gone to do a few hours in his mums shop, dd is lying under her playgym on the floor cooing and ahhing to herself and looking really pleased at the noises she's making:rotfl:
I've a house that needs to be tidied, and defrosted a chicken which I bought last week in Mr T's whoopsied stall for £1.32 so will be having roast chickent tonight...yummy!
Need to do a jobsearch for OH as I think he has given up:rolleyes:
Tasha C -thanks for that tip-will get OH to look into it:beer:
Also need to read up on directgov to try find out about any help we may be entitled to.
REALLY need to get ebay items done as need the money before sunday week (lo's christening:eek:).
We have £71.00 in a pot for her fund, £185 for bills which is OH's contribution this month so far and my wages will be paid on friday, not sure how much as last month I got £200 less than I expected(which made me cry with frustration as had done my budget to the penny and were really short last month, but hey ho we survived!)
Right, need to shoot as lo is now crying and wants to be entertained, and I need to make up some bottles for her and tidy!
Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine today!
Take care!

Hello All,
Bright and sunny again here today! Have done two loads of washing, though havent managed to get them out on the line yet.
LO is having a quick nap, have just made her bottles, had a shower and tidied a little, though there is LOADS to do in my house. Really dont know how, as I spend everyday cleaning and tidying but never looks any different?I suspect having a messy OH who hangs his clothes on the floor and a 4month old doesnt help:rolleyes:
Payday today so got to try streeeeetch my money, another 6 weeks til my next (and last:eek:) payday!
OH driving me crazy at the minute, has only done a few hours at his mums, hasnt gone to work in the pub, and has any number of excuses, like his mum needs him to close the shop up at 9.30, so he cant. Except that he could! The owner of the pub would let him come in at 6/7 til close and go for the hour to shut up shop.
Hasnt gone to the jobcentre to let them know that he only has part-time hours, even though I keep nagging him. ,I need details from him of employers paye to inform tax credits of the change but cant get that either. And he also hasnt received money for working 30hrs for the job he started last month, but wont ring to find out. I really am at breaking point with him, I dread to think how it will be next month when we simply dont have the wages and to be honest I'm tired of being the one to worry and take care of it all. I'm not his mum...grrrr:mad:
He also received £40 of bank charges last month even though I transferred the money to his acc, and asked him for dates and items to be paid so that the money would be in there, but I guess he just doesnt have a clue whats going in and outAll his banking post goes to his mums, but I've found his statement so will sit with it and note the items that were paid last month, and will need to be in again this month... (Actually, I feel like I AM his mum:rolleyes:)
Ok! Rant over!:p
I received a cheque from the NCT this morning for £28.70 for the bits I sold:j, so that will go into lo's christening fund(which is next sunday, 3rd!:eek:so soooon!!!):D
Have posted two ebay items, need to transfer the funds into my account-that will also be for christening.
I've listed a few items on ebay but have loads more to do, so hopefully get that done tonight.
OH has to fill in a police application form, he really wants to get in, and had to get it done in 4days, last day being today, so he will need the the computer later, so may not get ebay done.
Need to pay car tax this month too...£115.Everything at once as they say.
Will go to tescos tonight, get shopping in, will do a mealplan for next week as much as I can as my family(10 of them!!) will be over on friday until the following monday so will need to feed them a few times too..
Will have to nip over to OS board for some cheap recipes, though my dad wont eat anything except meat n potatoes and the odd curry:rolleyes:
Right, better go, need to get a few bits done before lo wakes, then we are off to pay water rates and the rest

I'm back:j
Had a very busy few days with family over for dds christening-we had a lovely time and dd loved seeing all her cousins:D
It was an expensive weekend so I need to get back on track!
OH has a trial day for a job today so fingers crossed.
Need to read up on mse newsletter and find my budget page to make sure all is paid.
Need to tidy my house and search on ebay for a cot(we were promised one but its been taken)will buy it from lo's christening fund as she was given a little money aswell as some beautiful gifts.:j
I have to root out OH's M()re than insurance policy as it hasnt validated with quidco, and its been 8 months:eek:
I should call abbey aswell to chase up my complaint as have not heard from them.
Really need to sit down and make a list but dd's crying and cant think at the minute so will log on later again when oh's home and I have some time to myself.[strike]Loan 1 = £5912.91 - 26 payments left @ £227.33[/strike] £3413.91- 15 payments left

Just a quick post from me as dd is getting antsy downstairs (iv popped her in her bouncer with 'in the night garden' on so I could get a few bits done in the house!
Well OH got the job:j, such a relief as my mat pay finishes this month. Its not great wages but better than the last job, plus he gets a company van!! It's actually a brilliant job, and one OH has wanted to get into since he left school. He title is graphic designer/manager:j Am SOOO proud of him! He didnt have much experience in the graphic design side, but he had management exp so it stood to him.:D He has his first day today and was so happy going in. Lucky him ey!
DD isnt a well wee bunny at the mo. She had her imms on thurs and has been poorly since, having a high temp on thurs night, so I watched her sleep for most of the night. Then she has developed a runny nose and chesty cough and really isnt herself. She's also not taking her bottles and not sleeping through the night anymore:eek: Really hope that she gets back into her routine once she is better as I am feeling drained again.
I've lost weight too, and I really dont need to. I look horrible. Caught a glimpse of myself whilst out shopping the other day and felt miserable. So going to make sure I eat during the day and look after myself now, its so easy to forget yourself once your a mummy, everything else just seems more important!
Am trying to build up some money in my ebay account, ready for the end of the month. I have about £200 in my personal account which im hoping we can hold on to for our bills as this is going to be one of our tightest months so far, but im determined we will get there and pay everything!
OH's mum has bought us a second hand cot, we havent seen it yet but to be honest, anything will do-just need to buy her a mattress now, so once its delivered I will check sizes and order one online to get cashback if poss.
Need to run as DD is grumbling.
Need to get back on later and get things in line![strike]Loan 1 = £5912.91 - 26 payments left @ £227.33[/strike] £3413.91- 15 payments left

Hi Sammie, glad things are picking up for you. Hope OH enjoys his first day. Hugs for the little lady, I know mine were always vile after they had their jabs.
You must take care of yourself and make sure you eat properly (if only I could stop!) Hope you are sleeping better and not having any more nasty dreams.
