Yes I suppose I am feeling a bit more positive!
OH seems to have finally realised we need to pull up our socks moneywise and is trying to do his bit too. He will be able to get his flyers done in his new job so instead of it costing £250, he will now pay £66! And seeing as we had put it aside, it means it will free it up for us to use instead. Every little helps as they say:D

I am much better as DD slept til 6.30 this morning and seems to be getting back to her cheeky little self thankfully, and in turn im feeling a bit more human!:T Hopefully no more bad dreams :rolleyes:

We are going to spend the day with OH's mum, as she has a rare day off, not sure what we will get upto, but she is a lovely lady so am sure we will have a nice time, and dd loves her loads.

Bank account still has 200 in it and trying to keep it that way, though saying that, i do have a £900 overdraft on it-so really i owe them £700!hopefully my bank wont do that setting off? where they just take the money back otherwise we're in trouble!!

Going to try make a minimal payment on oh's abbey card as he is only making min payments so its actually increasing each month-the sods!
Tried to make one last month from my account but it wouldnt let me for some reason, so I've registered OH for online banking and hopefully I will be able to keep an eye on his account and better control it.

I applied for a free orange sim card yesterday, so when we get it, I'll pop it in an old handset we have, and be able to get the 2-4-1 offers for the cinema on a wednesday if ever we can afford to go in the next few months!:p

Right, better go, OH's mum coming at ten, and need to get dd's change bag and bottles ready!

Well today is a lazy day in sammie's household!:money:
Have been out for lunch with OH, just a sandwich-then we took dd for her first time in a swimming pool and she loved it! She was so cute in her little cossie Not very dfw-but def worth it!

Have just made two small payments to OH's credit cards, hopefully they will go through this time.:rolleyes: They are literally minimal amounts,but I figure at least we are chipping away at them.

OH is out cleaning his garage, I've fed dd and she is snoozing. Had a little nap myself as have a horrible headache that wont go away, so needless to say i'm not in a cleaning mood (any excuse;))

OH is doing 3hours in his mums shop tonight as a favour,so will be an extra £20 for us. We will need it at the end of this month. My phonebill came through £67,not very happy with myself-but my wee sis had her baby this week so got bit carried away talking to family members back home and forgot needed to keep it down:rolleyes:

Have loads of bits aside to ebay-so hopefully will get that done over the weekend. OH and I are off to a bike show tomorrow to hand out his flyers, so hopefully that will generate some business. OH's mum is kindly taking care of dd.:T

No update re my redundancy etc, although my maternity leave officially (sp?) finishes on Monday. Then I start 13wks SMP. I went to CAB yesterday to try find out my rights, and get some help advise, but they were USELESS Gave me a website to check, but I told him I needed specific information re my case not general -so a wasted journey and a waste of time.

OH is loving is new job:jSo thats a positive and i'm looking into doing a childcare course so I can do childminding in my own home. It doesnt start until sept-but I would love it, and it would mean I could be at home with dd.

Right, better go,OH is treating me to chip shop supper before he leaves me alone again!:rotfl:I think I'll have a bath, a nice glass of wine,read a mag and do my nails tonight -though i'll be doing well getting any of that done with lo:rotfl:wish me luck:D

Well its been a tough few weeks and to be honest, though im not surprised, I've been diagnosed with quite bad post natal depression.
Last week was extremely tough for no good reason, and everything was a struggle,with tears,no appetite,lack of sleep and not very nice thoughts. It seems to have crept up on me and hit me like a tonne of bricks.
I was waiting every morning to see if i woke up and felt any better as thought I was just having an off day but its not lifted.
Had a bit of a breakdown on sat night and called my mum, who suggested I see my GP, and OH wanted me to see him too.
So I went along yest and yes,definitely have it and GP is sending Health visitor out to me and has advised me to take anti-depressants.
I'm reluctant to do so and want to try make myself feel better first,maybe eating better,exercise and some music and dance everyday with lo. Its a long shot but worth a try.

Anyway, I still want to try stay on top of things with money, though I suspect this situation has added to things, and hasnt helped, but I dont want to leave things til tomorrow if you get me.:rolleyes:

I'm looking to do a food hygiene course as will be making sandwiches for OH's mums shop,have put in an application for food registration, so am waiting for them to call out and inspect my kitchen, and then hopefully that will bring in some extra money each month.

My SMP starts this month-no idea how much I will get after tax etc, and any attempt I have made to find out has got me nowhere. My friend who is the office manager is always busy and never gets back to me. So I'll just have to wait until payday and go from there. Need to try eliminate the worry and anxiety especially over things I cant control!

Have a friend coming to visit on Thursday who is going to stay for a few days so looking forward to that. Need to get the house in shape:eek:

Going to go have a quick nosey on the rest of the site, then take dd for a nice walk and some fresh air:j

Glad you have been to see the doc. Exercise is supposed to release happy endorphins so try that. You could also look in to ST Johns Wort which is a natural anti depressant. If you are taking any other medication check its ok to go with it.

I've done my health and hygiene course and it was paid for by business link, so if you need to spend anything go and see them.

Hi all,

Hope everyone enjoyed their bank holiday weekend!

OH,dd and I went to his mums caravan by the beach and had a lovely relaxing time. Also had a few days with a friend and a much needed and deserved night out;)

Am trying to stay on top of things so have made a minimal payment of £5.53 to OH's credit card.
I called abbey this morning re a complaint I made 8 weeks ago as they broke DPA by giving OH info on my acc,they advised the complaint is now in deadlock so it will now go to the Ombudsman. I'm happy to pursue this as I've had fraud on my account previously also so question their levels of security, and I've nothing to lose!:rolleyes:

I've also e-mailed work regarding my intention to return to work (I dont really intend to return to work, but know if I did they would be making me redundant so may aswell get what I'm entitled to.) My friend who is the office manager was supposed to be dealing with it for the last 7weeks but has now washed her hands of it-though nothing was resolved, and to be honest, its doubtful she even spoke about it at all:mad: So now the ball is in my court, enough messing around and they now need to reply. To be perfectly honest,I'm not in the mood for them to start messing around, and as I'm normally a pushover-I think they are in for quite a shock if they try and get out of it.

I've sold an item on ebay which I need to post tomorrow and I have some more items to list tonight.

Quiet day, little motivation but wanting to post to stay on top of things!

Docs yesterday, have to see her again in a fortnight and the health visitor is coming weekly. I'm having good and bad days at the moment, but trying to cut out any stress or anxiety and am deleting so called friends that I havent heard from.
I received a lovely letter from my best friend this morning, telling me she admired me for coping with everything life throws at me and for trying to deal with this pnd. She also sent me a film called the notebook, so I can have a good cry, lol. but I've seen it already. Highly recommend it, beautiful film. She also sent me some lovely sandals from primark, a keyring with my initial and a beautiful dress for dd.
She's the type of person I need more of in my life. A brilliant friend.

I ebayed 5/6 items last night:j So hopefully they will sell for a couple of million;):rotfl:

I checked my banking this morning, as I said, i'm rooting for that ebay million:D
I've checked pigsback-nothing, the miserable sods.
Quidco-a payment has been marked as received £70.00-so hoping that comes through shortly-brilliant timing if it does!
Tried the galaxy book competition-nothing.
Entered the glamour competition-fingers crossed.

I havent received a reply from my work yet-will give them til friday and will then contact ACAS for advice. My 'friend' advised she didnt think they would offer me the job back, if i said i was coming back (as I've told her I will now commute if need be).
Hmmm..now wouldnt it be interesting if they didnt 'offer' it to me??:eek: Methinks they would have a nice big sexual discrimination case on their hands. I am legally entitled to my job back.Could do without the stress of this but must take control and be assertive!

I'm waiting on the letter from abbey, but spoke to the Information Commisioners and can send in the complaint as they have not sent correspondance to date. Again, alot of hassle, but its my right to ensure my account details remain protected.

I need to post two ebay items that sold that I didnt post yesterday.
Need to tidy my casa and do loads of washing as washing machine died again for a week but came back to life yesterday??:rolleyes:

Just a quick post-as nearly bedtime and I'm going to have a nice relaxing bath before I sleep

Not a bad day today, paid 12.65 off OH cc, and have told him I'll need his statements as want to make sure the payments are being allocated!

I posted my ebay items as post office was closed yest afternoon. I'l probably receive some negative feedback as I took a few days to post-oops!:rolleyes:

I entered a couple of competitions today -if im not in, I cant win ey!;)
I rang HMRC to update OH's details and mine as I'm now on SMP so they will send me a new form...booo...i hate their forms! So long-winded and conflustering!

I still havent received a response from work or a letter from abbey so need to write out a letter of complaint to Information commissioner.

I took dd for a walk today, it was a struggle (finding the motivation, not the actual walk), but need to get myself out of this post natal depression.
Have health visitor tomorrow again for a quick check up.
DD isnt her usual self, very whiney and clingy today, poor bubs.

I've been looking at wedding stuff today (OH and I will be engaged two years in a few weeks), but not likely that we'll be able to afford a wedding, was just dreaming really!:rolleyes:
