    hello! :hello:

haven't managed to post for a couple of days.

Pink-winged (((HUGS))) to you, you must miss her so much! But lovely that you have so many happy memories. Thank you for your pm.i can't remember that dates my parents died, as we were abroad when the news cae, I just know my Dad was in October and my Mum was in June. I felt so sorry for a colleague whose Dad died on Christmas Day, as it will be impossible to ever forget!

redruby - Congratulations to your OH!:j :starmod: :staradmin :starmod: :staradmin :starmod: _party_ _party_ _party_

Best wishes to those with birthdays today! :bdaycake: :bdaycake: :bdaycake:

betheebee - Have a lovely break - you thoroughly deserve it! It's time to think about yourself for a while!

mioliere - you will be so glad when all those favours are finished - and even gladder when you see them on the tables on the big day!

Haribo - so sorry to hear about the roof! What a rude awakening for your poor DD!

scuzz - good luck on the job-hunting front, and hope you enjoy the wedding reception and manage to get to the festival.

sistercas - enjoy the wedding! When is it?

Teria and Melli - welcome to the thread, i don't think we've met before:D

rage in Eden - I hadn't even realised there was a partial eclipse this morning - it was cloudy here:rolleyes:

Catowen - I'm so sorry to hear you've lost two of "your" children, that's rotten. Thinking of you and very much hoping you get some more to look after very soon ((((HUGS))))

Stefejb - ((((HUGS)))) to you too, but when you get used to DD not being there for a while maybe you will enjoy it being quieter and being able to please yourself more. As for your ExOH, if he loved you so much he should have treated you better  I suppose your DD having no memories of him when she was little is good in one way but not in another.

Kaat - your poor Mum! That's awful. Hope it can be sorted out asap. And that you are feeling a bit better today.

Sorry, I know I haven't mentioned everyone but can't remember what everyone said :o I do think of you all though, and pray for those in need, even on days when I don't post.

    Best wishes

    ivyleaf xx

    Hello all,

Have not read the thread for a few days but hope you are all well. Early Friday finish and I have the whole weekend off! :D :j _party_. Bliss.

Witnessed a car accident on the way home, fortunately no one was hurt, but still - both cars are write offs. Panicked my dad as I phoned him to tell him, but all he heard was 'car accident' and thought I had been involved. Anyway, was very responsible and slowed the traffic down, got both cars out of the way and got the road swept. Maybe I should be a traffic cop :D. My dad said that I will prob get a call from both insurance companies, but to not say anything on the phone, get them to send me a letter as it might be a solicitor pretending to be from the insurance company. Great advice really, as that never would have occured to me.

So-plans for the weekend. I would like to get my haircut, make a batch of chilli, do 20 Ebay listings, bake some bread, some treats etc. Want to finish putting my shelves up, but they are so hard to assemble!

Anyway, have a good one

oh well I shall have to ignore him some more I suppose
dh should be home soon and then we can sort dinner out ds1 has requested curry which is really funny as from a young age to about 12 months ago he would only eat sausage, burgers, fish fingers and bacon

Well I did get soaked in the garden last night but had a lovely warm bath when I came in. The rain didn't abate all night and Dtwin2 woke us at some ungodly hour to tell us her roof was leaking. And it really, really is in a very big way so OH is pondering how to fix it before it collapses and I am contemplating a naked Sun dance up the road to make the rain stop. Oh the joys of an old house.

    Haribo xxx

Sorry to hear about the roof ,, but,,,

    PLEASE HARIBO

NO NAKED SUN DANCES,,, :rotfl: :rotfl:

    THINK OF THE NEIGHBOURS:rotfl: :rotfl:

and those with bad hearts:rolleyes: :rotfl:  :rotfl:

    Hello all !
Very late today as I've been visiting my disabled friend for the day.......weather was lovely but windy and thankfully not as sticky as yesterday.
Oldest boy has definitely lost his job as of today so he''s off job hunting (so he said), the other one is off fishing (what do they see in it ?) so all is quiet ...........for now anyway.

Hope you've had a good day and hugs (((((((((((:o ))))))))))) to those who need them

    Well done Mr Redruby!!
Mrs_Mix - it's the best thing to ignore your nasty neighbour. It will drive him mad. Just smile and know that you are not rising to the bait.
re anniversaries of deaths - I usually have a sad moment on the anniversaries of mum and dad's deaths. Very rarely go through the day and forget to 'remember'. Thinking of you today
