    Morning all :hello:
Happy Birthday to Essex Boy, Master Mix and N9Eav's Dad.
    Fingers crossed for Mr Redruby.
Aussie... Are you frozen stiff? :p
Stef....You're such a positive person, I'm sure you'll turn DD's trip away to something positive like another madcap camping trip. :p Hugs to you. xxx
Pink.... I can't believe it's been a year since your friend died. Mind DS2 doesn't break the cemetary. ;)

Well I did get soaked in the garden last night but had a lovely warm bath when I came in. The rain didn't abate all night and Dtwin2 woke us at some ungodly hour to tell us her roof was leaking. And it really, really is in a very big way so OH is pondering how to fix it before it collapses and I am contemplating a naked Sun dance up the road to make the rain stop. Oh the joys of an old house.

The girls are having a friend up today after lunch who will probably stay for tea so I'll make them something child friendly and OH and I may have some chilli for a change.

Washing still wet and unable to go outside, but dishes done, beds made and floors washed so far. if there's time I want to give the kitchen a really good clean as there are so many flies about that I'm getting the heebiejeebies. :o

    Bye for now

I feel a bit better about the concert now; I've just checked the ticket prices and they are £34.50 plus £3 booking fee - EACH!! And they weren't the dearest ones! Not very OS and not something we can really treat ourselves to with the expense we've had for the wedding and the extra catering for the guests I'm putting up!

    Morning all

HAPPY BIRTHDAY N9EAV'S DAD, MR ESSEX MAN AND MRS MIX'S DS

STEF don't know what has happened as couldn't get on here yesterday. Big hugs to you.

JAYWARD sorry to hear about the job, hugs to you.

HUGS to all who need one this morning.

Am up really late, wanted to go for a run before OH went to work but just couldn't and went straight back to sleep. Must have needed it though as I haven't slept that well. I finally had words with OH about what is really making me unhappy, i.e. his complete lack of effort to do any tidying up in the house or even tidy his own clothes and rubbish away. He has promised me he will make an effort and so far has but we shall see.

Had a better day at work yesterday. Am trying the Paul McKenna weight loss system at the mo. Will let you know how I get on, it's really weird.

Must go and get a picnic together, off to the beach in an hour to meet a friend. Then we have a family party later, think I will drive as it's in the middle of nowhere and all OH ex's family will be there plus his exoh, plus OH's family. Oh joy! Shall do my best to look stunning and have a good time, especially as DSS is going to propose to his GF.

    Have a good day all

Just popped on to wish the birthday peeps a good one :bdaycake:

Any fingers crossed for Mr Redruby - hope he passes.

Isn't it strange how we all handle things differently, I purposely have not remembered the dates Mum, MIL & FIL died, I remember them on their birthdays and Mothers/Fathers Day, but do not wish to remember the sad day. I get flowers but display them at home so I can see them a remember them that way.
