Happy Birthday to Master MIX, have a good day.

Stefjb, sorry to hear you are a bit up and down at the moment, you are doing the best thing for your youngest dd, she will have the best time ever, and although you will miss the time will soon pass.

As for the exoh, thats a really confusing one, he should appologise, but you should not really get involved in any of that again, if he used you as a punchbag, then he is not really worth the effort, hugs to you xx

    Hi all.

Donny and Jayward - have a great day today and tell us all about it later!

RedRuby - fingers crossed for your DH for his driving test! Boy, I would HATE to have to do that again especially considering how busy the roads are nowadays!

N9EAV - you have really suffered with the rain this week, haven't you? We've had hardly any here in Hampshire. It did rain yesterday evening and through the night but it's stopped now. We have dark clouds, some blue sky and, right now, sun!

(((Hugs))) to Smoky, PenPin, Jayward, Chrisca, Poppyoscar, Beth and her DBs, Candygirl's Dad and Essex-girl's Dad.

Having spent most of yesterday afternoon working on the wedding favours (a week today! It's going too fast now!) I now realise that I need to buy some more white dress net so will get that this morning in my lovely local haberdashers; I also need to see if the ribbon I ordered three weeks ago is in - they said they'd phone me when it came in; if not, I'll have to see if Hobbycraft has got the same stuff but that means driving to another village. I'd already bought meters and meters of it thinking the haberdashers would never run out of it. A warning to people doing favours, you may think you have enough fabric and stuff but, it's not till you really get going on them that you realise how much you need. DH's job tonight is to empty all the packets of Love Hearts (150 of them!) and Jelly Babies (for the little ones) and I'll try him on tying the ribbons but his hands are probably too big!

Anyway, apart from that I need to do my food shopping this morning so I want to get out early if I can.

Not sure what to do for dinner tonight; I might try fish in the Remoska. I made a lovely chicken casserole in it last night - and it only took about an hour and forty-five minutes. Leftover chicken, three carrots, half a sweet potato, four potatoes, one courgette, one leek, one onion, three garlic cloves, my magic seasoning from the Co-op (if they ever stop making that I shall mount a public protest!), an oxo and some Herbs de Provence. I don't think it cost more than about £1 for the two of us and there was enough left over for soup for two, with added stock. It was a great success. I love my Remoska!

Well, I'm m'ing very well now so I'd better go and clear up the breakfast things, clean the bathroom and get out of the house!

    See you all later.

    Have a great day!

Stef - I had an ex like that; no joke, is it, and totally unforgiveable.

    Good monrning everyone

Happy birthday to N9eav Snr and Master Mix (sounds a bit like a rapper!).
redruby good luck to your DH today.
donny and jayward enjoy your day.
Last day at w**k this week. :j One down, two to go on my own. I'm not stressing out about things though.

Plans this weekend are to freshen up the kitchen by doing some painting. I need to do some cleaning too. WM will definitely need to go on when I get home from w**k.

Just had some melon, strawberries and pineapple for breakfast. It was yummy. Have some HM squash, sweet potato and red pepper soup for lunch and then some chicken with lots of green veg for dinner.

    Have a fabulous Friday. xx

got most of my tea towels and aprons in ther wm this morning i rather stupidly left the sink filling while i nipped out to feed the cat and theneighbour started chatting to me, i came in to find the sink overflowing and the drawers and cupboards under it full of hot water:mad: . i was still mopping out when DH got home.
got 3 weetabix cakes made yesterday one for the tin and 2 for the freezer:D , must do my shopping list today as its a trip to mrT for me tonight.

got to nip out in a bit for an appt but should only be an hour or so. apart from that i've got 2 things on the mending pile and about 1/2 hour of ironing.

    Good Morning All

Happy Birthday to Master Mix & N9eavs Dad.

Its also my OH's birthday today. He is bed at the moment as worked last night, he has also got to work tonight so will be going out for a meal tomorrow. Have my Mum coming over today - she will make him Walnut cake which he loves.

Other than that normal stuff today, should really be doing end of month but may leave that till next week. Seems to have rained a lot, the sun is out at the moment but there are some dark clouds.

Off to finish my tea and have a surf.

mioliere wedding favours....I remember them well all (158 of them) ..... they seem never ending dont they? but when you put them on the tables O they look so lovely, and then you feel, YES I am so glad I did them :A

We have sunshine again today, had a bit of rain yesterday but not for long really.
I have loads to do today, my own fault, because I just left everything yesterday after all the interuptions, never mind I will get stuck in when OH has gone. WM is already on,nothing in DW, Ironing basket is in the way and I have to keep stepping over it, done on purpose so I HAVE to do it, I think I will start an I HATE IRONING club :rotfl:
Well must go do OH`s sandwiches, he offered to do them himself but....if he does guess who does the clearing up ;)

    Back later
