Thanks for explaining Hypno. Isn't logic funny as it means so many different things to people. Fingers crossed for those bank charges to be refunded.

no problem ches!! Yes, one person's logic is another person's complete load of tosh!! :D

Nothing much to mention - nothing won on free bingo surprise surprise.

No unexpected money coming my way, so nothing paid off the debt today. Life's tough at times :rotfl:

DS made a fab beef madras for dinner - he did it in the slow cooker so the beef was sooooo tender. Delish - he can stay for another week :D

Hope you have all had a good day!

  • Hypno HOW do you get your DS to cook dinner? Mine asks how do I do that every single step of the way so its just quicker to do it myself and he would NEVER think to make dinner without being asked anyway! He sounds lovely could you send him my way for a week please..

I think he worries that I am so busy I might forget to feed him, so he needs to be able to fend for himself :o

He is quite a good cook - crap at clearing up afterwards, but good at cooking!!

Well done on the A level results......wish it was GCSEs this week and not next. I'm getting awfully tired of pretending to be confident and laid back for DS when actually I'm not sleeping stressing over what the next step will be if he doesn't get the grades he needs for his place

My DD was one with results and No we have never ever had "well I did this good I want x amount". We've always encouraged both DS & DD to try their hardest, do their best and what will be will be. DD got a Belgian Bun from the Bakers as her reward today :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
